Hi. I purchased the War Within expansion about 75 hours ago now and i have not yet received my character boost. What do i do?

There seems to be issues with the enhanced character boost with Midnight, from both as you’re experiencing not getting the boost and those who have boosted facing issues with quests not having npcs showing correctly due to the skipped story and nobody getting the currencies or reputation that was to come with it.
Apparently it’s a known issue and is being worked on but your guess good as mine for expected fix timeframe

Didn’t Receive a Character Boost With my Expansion Purchase

* I bought the latest expansion but didn’t receive my boost.
- Can’t see my character boost on the character list.
- I upgraded from Heroic to Epic but did not receive any boost.
Once your account is upgraded with an expansion providing a boost, an icon should appear in the top-right corner of the character selection screen:
Make sure you log in to the account you upgraded since the character boost is specific to the WoW account being upgraded. If you cannot see your character boost, visit your Transaction History. If your order status is Complete and you still haven’t received your boost, try this troubleshooting:
- Create a level 1 character to refresh your character selection screen.
- Log into a character, then log out back to your character selection screen.
- Close the game and restart.
Expansion upgrades
Upgrading from one version of the expansion to another does not grant an additional boost. For example from Base to Heroic/Epic, or Heroic to Epic. If you want an additional boost after already owning one from an expansion pack, a separate Character Boost service is available for purchase.

Hi there Langaøran,
With the launch of pre-purchases for Midnight, there are no character boosts included with The War Within upgrades.
All pre-purchases of Midnight do include both a boost as well as The War Within though, so that may be worth considering. You can check your eligibility for a refund of your TWW upgrade here, though it may not be possible if you’ve already been playing.

Oh okay. That kinda sucks. I mainly bought it because i thought i would get a character boost but i will be keeping the expansion anyway. Thank you so much for the help tho!
