Welcome to Tolerance world.
in the movie about Troy, they made Zeus and other Greek Gods black which was disappointing.
Same goes for the Belves.

This might be DK exclusive
exept alliance was hoping for skinny kul tirans also, not just the chubby ones, and Kul tiran do make sence to be in the alliance.
Not with haymaker tho~
Blizzard should ignore those complaints. People who cry about that donāt play video gamesā¦they have an ulterior motive.
And itās not like you canāt create diverse chars. My Kul Tiran has a dark skin and grey hair and he looks badass. Why do bloodelves need to be black when the lore doesnāt support this? Blizzard is abandoning their principlesā¦
Can you show me one popular AR please?
Of course it makes sense for them to be in the Alliance. What doesnāt make sense is to expect Blizzard to create your allied race with two very different entirely new models. Thatās pretty much like expecting to get an extra allied race.
But the lore also donāt prove dark-skinned blood elves donāt exist. They do live in a realm that worships the sun, and sun expose can turn your skin very dark over time. It has happened to me, but itās since reverted. Also, didnāt someone in this thread (or another) just say that dark irons were added just to please a minority?
Ehm Void Elf? i am not even joking go to realmpop scroll it to show only 120 lvl and see the races chart for the alliance.
I donāt understand the logic myselfs but I guess as one faction was getting the options they found a way of giving it to the other as well. No matter how illogical. Unless we are going to see some justification for it in Shadowlands.
On the Alliance-side?
Void Elves for sure. Otherwiseā¦ ehmā¦
You see, none of the other AR are popular, I thought Zandalari will break the records, but due to the long delay many people lost their hype for the Zandalari.
I see the retcons coming.
We had data from 2019 which suggested that they are popular. Puny, do you have anything regarding this? I believe to remember you were the one who posted something some months ago.
Except there was never a single case of black high elf/blood elf in lore or anywhere in the game, and they are living in the place where it is eternally magical spring, not on Hawai or in a super sunny and hot area like Tanaris or Stranglethornā¦
And thatās what ruins this franchise. That for some stupid reason everything has to be mirrored. The sooner they stop deluding themselves with this nonsense, the better.
Blizzard will just retcon and change the loreā¦i mean, nothing wrong with it but itās very obvious why they did it. Which to me feels disingenuous.
Of course. Consistency means absolutely nothing to these people, and theyāve made it blatantly obvious more than once, which is sad and pathetic.
Well the Zandalari are not that far off from Void Elves to be honest. Here is the data that Iām going off from: https://www.worldofwargraphs.com/global-stats/races
There you can see that void elves make up a total of 4.4% of 120s and Zandalari at 3.1%
I can see two explanations for the darker skin tones.
Either the new light component of the Sunwell is to blame or the darker skin is a side effect of an over consumption of Fel energies.
In fact we already have an example of that in the Felblood Elves and some of the darker skin tones exclusive to Demon Hunters.
What the actual f,since when is realmpop down?!?! and why?!?
