It is not about eye color blizzard

War paints, new haircuts, jewelry this all will be added. You cannot make conclusions depending on the raw datamined customization options.

the op do have a point though, alliance almost never gotten a single race they wanted exept Dark iron dwarfs, what again appeals to a minority.

Nightborne for example is one, both horde and alliance helped them, but they joined horde becuse the devs put in one line from tyrande, like what, that should not have happend, nightborne should have been alliance.

other classes alliance have wanted are broken, high elfs, mechagnomes the ones from wrath. some wanted Sethrakk, skinny kul tirans.
but what have alliance gotten.

not a single one of them, exept mechagnomes, but not the ones they wanted.
on top of this, start of BFA they gave far superior racials whit the zandalari.

horde wanted as op said dark orcs, they got them, and pretty much everything else also, including skins for forsaken that doesnt show bones.

this has for many starting to feel Blizzard do not care for alliance at all, and horde is only thing worth while, and it shows in game, more and more alliance players goes horde, and if this blue eye farse happens, there wont be much of an alliance left at all, specialy raiding sceen what is already bad, will die out totaly atleast the mythic side, what already is like semi dead.

Imagine quitting the game just because an eye color

It’s entirely subjective, I think most of the alliance races are better.

I think Blizzard get constant criticism for having mostly white-ish humanlike races and this is probably a response to that. I think there was only one darkish skinned option for humans.

Nightborne added to Horde to have feeling of playing Nightelf! Do not forget the Nightborne we have, does not even look like the actual Nightbornes.

Alongside Void Elves were added to Alliance to make them feel they are playing Belves!

At leats with the African skin there is a confirmed basis for them. In the Traveler book, the dark-skinned girl that’s one of the main characters comes from a group of humans living in Stranglethorn Vale.

They will quit for 3 month maximum and they will come back.

I will kick every dark skin blood elf from my rp guild

To be fair here, the Alliance AR racials are far stronger compared to the Horde-ones. They even removed the Vulpera 10% demi-human passive racial and gave them an increased bag-capacity.

To be honest with you, this is the only thing what upsets me about the belf-update. I don’t care about the blue eyes but given them a black skin…? Reminds me of Ganguro-people:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ganguro

yes they did, but it was to late, thing was, at start of BFA, troll racials where so far superior, many guilds when horde for it, and more followed, and when warfronts came, even more when horde, thanks to horde getting the loot before, people do anything to get an edge, after that it was to late to pretty much save alliance side and I doubt it is possible now, not even if alliance got high elfs it wont change anything now.

I think void elfs would have worked better if they have had more normal skin and more lighter hair colors so they would have looked more like high elfs, and it would not have matterd anymore, heck even alleria looks like a high elf, even though she is a void elf now.

The Kul Tirans were literally made into an allied race due to the demands from alliance players. Blizzards originally didn’t plan to give them to the Alliance but changed that due to player reception and created a whole new skeleton for them. Even delaying the Horde from getting their Zandalari for months because of it.

The Horde also still has the least popular allied race in the form of the Highmountain Tauren (According to the data from Dezember 2019, couldn’t find anything with the two newest races)

This is true for everyone wondering and the sole reason why the KT/ZT-update took so long.

But this doesn’t change the fact that the Alliance AR are not popular though.

Edit: my screen filter was weird. Lets see what happens.

True. Though I still think Kul Tirans look pretty cool and it’s a shame not more people play them. Same with dark iron dwarfs.

Just think it’s silly that we have people saying that nobody wanted the Kul Tirans when they were literally created because of it.

Because blizzard are caving in to demands of obnoxious SJW morons.

When you do the quest to open Nightborne, Alleria do ask Lorthemar to join the Alliance where she gets refused.

People will call you a racist for criticizing a fictional race customization but you’re right. How does Blizzard justify this? It’s not canon or in accordance with the lore.

Precisely. Hence why the reason why they did this is obvious, and it’s pathetic.
