So, I accidentally sold my Skull of impending doom a while ago and can’t restore it via Item Restoration system.
Of course I sent a ticket and got a default answer from GM:
Sorry to hear that you aren’t seeing the Skull of Impending Doom in the list on the Item Restoration system. What you see on there is the same as what we see in our records, so if it’s not showing up, then unfortunately it’s been too long since you got rid of it for it to be recoverable
While I looked for solution on forums, I found tens of threads from EU and US players, which destroyed/vendored it (and after they leveled 60, they realised Skull never must be destroyed).
The Skull is a powerfull unique quest item, that you cann’t re-farm in game, and players easily vendoring it, becouse at lvl 40 the Skull looks useless for melee characters.
There is must be solution for issue, becouse this little green item gives you unballanced substantial advantage in PVP. And you can’t replace it.
Now solutions is:
- Level a new character of the same class (yes… spent 200 hours becouse of single quest item).
- Get upset about destroying it and drop subscription.
P.S. Of course, there is #nochanges and no safety net for player mistakes. But in Vanila times GMs were able to restore items that was destroyed a months ago (especially quest items).
