Greetings everyone. I would like to suggest developers to implement bigger personal bank space or revert the item restoration limit back to 50 instead of 5 for characters in Classic ERA. Since there is already few changes apart from original Vanilla like chronoboons. Until now many people used restore item service to help them storage their items for off-specs, sadly developers changed it from 50 items per 1 restore use down to 5. Even if Blizzard would made it in-game shop purchase for bank storage people would still buy it. I don’t see this a big game-changing idea, it would bring only positive feedback having bigger storage for your characters
If you want bigger bank space, you can play retail. Classic Era is museum, no changes please.
They can atleast start off by stacking potions and such to 20 atleast… Why stop at 5?
You know what the item restoration is for right? Not extra bag space, but to undo stupid mistakes.
if you use it for bag space, you are exploiting imho.
Okay Museum, i hope you never used chronoboons then
Chronoboons must be removed.
Where is it written then? I already asked support about whole restoration system, it’s totally up to you what you restore and for what reason
The original intent when introducing this system was the reduction of manual GM interventions. It was conceived for the quick, inexpensive recovery of accidentally deleted or disenchanted items.
Personally I’ve used it twice in 19 years. Once back in 2009 when I accidentally disenchanted Mimiron hardmode hands (ticket, manually restored by a GM) and actually this year, when I accidentally disenchanted a decent quest reward.
I don’t fully understand the argument about space either.
You can carry around 80 items - 5x16. Hunters are at a clear disadvantage, having to sacrifice ~18 slots (one bag and some pet food).
Then there are 6 bag slots in the bank (or 7), plus the 24-28 base slots, that’s 120 slots at the very least. Overall: 200.
For professions and storage, you can use mules. You don’t need alternative gears on them even.
Why do you need more?
I used to fill my own WLK bank, sure. With stuff I never used again: robes, weapons and toys. I purchased a guild bank, first replicating my former guild (columns of identical stuff) and then replicating the GW2 materials bank. A few years later I have thrown it all out.
I am in favour of huge bags and/or bag systems, for me Classic isn’t about inventory and mule tetris but the zones and stories and combat system.
(Maybe Era is too old, it was never designed for longevity and some people are having trouble coping.)
