It keeps the same through the whole expansion, but later resilence becomes more important and will give warlocks an extra survival against some classes.
Dunno I absolutely slay ppl on my warlock in BG, never get negative k/d even when facing premades.
Itās usually like 3:1 or so, that is while focussing on the objective too.
It is very strong now, and will be one of the strongest classes in WotLK as well.
Talking about destro, I have no experience in playing anything else.
The prepatch is and always was balanced around max level (not yet achievable) so classes are obviously completely broken at current level. It happens every prepatch.
As others stated, DK is an antimagic class, you canāt really duel him 1v1.
As for Warlocks, they where one of the most played classes in 3v3 ladders in LSD and other comps during WOTLK. In fact if you are able to find 2010 Blizzcon footage, most if not all comps are Lock/Other Caster/Healer.
i never said warlocks were bad. i just said i have zero chance at all i might aswell go afk if i get gripped.
Donāt take the pre-patch state of PvP as a baselineā¦ seriously, itās only for a month, after that the next āproperā pvp tier will be 80.
And thatās also where the classes really get into their Wotlk state.
Then again, if you are demotivated just because people keep beating you in pvpā¦ then maybe itās not a game-style for you? Because thatās going to happen consistentlyā¦ and to everyone, mind you.
Iād say, keep fighting, look for dkās to fight, try to adapt to their skills and abilities, and even if you only win 1 out of 5 fights vs a dk, thatās 1 more than you had before

You clearly havenāt played any pservers if you think they are as OP as they are currently in full brutal gear at lvl 80. Sure, they donāt suck, but they are nowhere near their current level in terms of damage and tankiness

Sure, they are an anti-caster class. That wont change. Locks will have a hard time 1v1

you just a garbage on warlock, spec to destro, learn how to resummon pets, play felhunter and succub and you will have pretty much 33% chance to win if itās good dk or over 50% chance to win garbage one

Also would be funny to state that some class is āOPā just because it beats one (1) class in PvP. Thatās not OP, thats a counter class.

Well, bgās are not 1v1 luckily, nor are arenaās for that mather.
that is very true, team play is where warlock shines because of combination of damage & control and team can cover his weakness (virtually no defensives). warlock is brain of his team, but frail.
open world though dk is gonna jump up your a$$ from the sky and u can do nothing but watch

I have played PVP DK in WOLTK for so long and I can tell u on p1 - p2 DK is probably the strongest class by far in 1v1 or open world PVP, it is just insane power, u can turn into blood and cut rogues into half in P1-P2 (there is literally no way a rogue can beat Blood DK (specially orc with 15% stun reduction its literally 2.5 sec stun max) but things will not stay this way for so long. When End-Game shows up, hybrid paladins can easily break any DK talents (even on start they are so powerful against DK) and lots of other classes like Ferals, Rogues or even Warriors and Frost Mages can beat a death knight. DKs start so powerful at first but they wont be able to do that for so long.
