Oh there’s simple solution for that issue… Something WoW and other MMOs with Dungeon Finders realized along the way. Don’t enable it on the highest available difficulty. You want challenging Heroics? Don’t enable RFD for those. Leave it in on normal dungeons so people can level up and do those regardless of of the server situation (as it stands for now data from census projects indicates that leveler population makes up for less than 40% of server’s total), It’s that easy
That did not happen in retail, why would it happen in Classic?
Because classic does not have stupid retail features like dumb LFR or non-cmbt pet battles or followers etc.
And that has exactly what to do with tanks and RDF?

i want RDF. will make watching TV while qued and ported easier. Instead of going to the instance to summon 3 like you who keep questing while in group. But dont need to cry like a little girl about it. Also is a good way to use it as a HS. Get ported, leave party and walk out the instance.
RDF is not a bad thing.
Most people that are making arguments against it don’t really know anything about it, or how it worked back in the day.
I’m also not surprised you don’t understand that RDF would put you right back where you hit “join” rather than work as a HS.
I love how the biggest anti-RDF argument is ‘‘WE ARE A COMMUNITY, WE CARE ABOUT SOCIAL ASPECT OF THE GAME’’
But when you make the argument that classic would make it much easier for new people to level and do dungeons they literally go ‘‘Nah, [profanity removed] that part of the community’’
