It's comical how little changes warlock is getting

A buff will not do it. The mechanics of the game (I know this is another post) are impacting on us. There is so much movement now that every other class has been brought up to speed whilst we’re lagging in the back.

The whole ‘we’re tankier’ argument is null and void. The amount of people preaching that we’re fine when the casual player base is screaming we need more mobility is frustrating.

Kalamazi has posted a new video saying we need more mobility: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R--P1pwER8o&t=1s

Give us Kil’Jaeden’s cunning back. Let our procs be instant: Nightfall allows you to drain soul whilst moving, ruination makes Soulfire instant (update the animation as well as the green imp fire bolt), etc.

yes exactly what I think too, in fact my fear is that we focus (if we do so) on the purely numerical number when it is clear that the problems are mechanical and gameplay-related. Unfortunately, this class - and only this class - has always been plagued by the fact that in order not to give an instant proc, the 0.5 second cast was invented (fel dom, circle, shadofury first iteration, demon bolt proc first iteration).

KJC would be a very fun thing and it would solve so many problems without breaking anything (it would be enough if during the casting of a filler the movement was reduced for example).

Among other things in their moments of nostalgia, those in which they reintroduce spells and talents from the past (which had been eliminated by themselves) often without knowledge of the facts (ritual of ruin is the most hilarious thing they could reintroduce… old graphics, no one clicks because it’s russian roulette, and now they’ve even nerfed the Doomguard by 90%), they often fail to introduce the very talents that made the warlock playable and fun.

It’s a mystery that Fel Flame was eliminated, they could have reintroduced it for mobility with 3 charges every 15 sec for example. It wouldn’t have broken anything, on the contrary.

Haven’t played Demo , but I’ll noticed the buffs for destruction especially in M+. Now we’re okayisch. Same for single target.

Affliction still need some buffs in AOE and ST.

And we definitely need a rework for all spec’s + class tree. Hope this will come with 11.1 , but don’t know how realistic that is.

Its ok but its not enough to actually get an invite. I’m stuck running my own key not able to target farm items I actually need because nobody wants warlocks.

It’s not that hard. You just have to achieve 2600 Rio to get an invite for a +8 :joy::joy:

patch note 11.0.7 released a little while ago, few changes to the classes and nothing for the warlock. Let’s hope for better luck next release

You are hopeful for the next patch or xpac?

unfortunately I have now almost lost hope in general, in fact I believe that in a possible xpac we would become even more static while the mages will have 235 blink charges and the warriors 139 charges. And we are at the bottom of the gaming food chain.

More than anything I’m worried that they really don’t understand what a warlock is. It would be enough to read the feedback a little, but no they continue with absurd logic and mixing the three specs in a terrible way

Demo is my go-to and it plays really well in the way that everything flows nicely and it satisfies the class fantasy, but even when played well Demo is still weak compared to so many other things right now. No major rework needed for Demo IMO but it does need to be buffed.

It’s comical but sad how true this is.

Shamans:

  • Get ascendence and 3 different visuals.

Void Elves:

  • We’re going to make your racial even better and update the visuals!

Warlock:

  • Same graphics from Cata and Legion

redoing the graphics of a racial with 3 minutes of CD (and also making it uglier, it partially seems like the covenants ability of the mages in shadowlands) is a very strange thing. We’ve been begging for years for a shadowbolt glyph that is still graphically present in the game

Warlock is the only class that didnt get his own battle stance,we still use mages placeholder.

Because Warlocks are the poor versions of Mages even though our class fantasy is rich and interesting.

WE USED TO HAVE A STANCE! Then they took it from us

Demonic Gateway to every major city! That’s just for starters!
