If you hate Forums negativity do yourself a favor and go play the game you love so much.
Before BFA you would never see me here because every minute was passed playing the game.
I only came to Forums to ask questions, which the players here always helped.
There was players complaining, but I respected their opinions.
The game wasn’t enjoyable for them.

Seriously though, all forums are the same, the bulk of the playerbase does not use them or even seek them out unless they have an issue and even then the official forums aren’t always everyone’s first port of call. There is a fairly regular posting community and in addition to that it’s mostly people seeking to resolve, report or complain, give feedback, make suggestions etc.
People are passionate about their hobby, what you may deem trivial others may deem a major issue. There are a lot of teething problems with the prepatch, some things will be fixed faster than others. The playerbase will never speak with one voice and it will never please everyone. People just have to judge for themselves if an expansion has enough in it to interest them to keep playing.
You are the very thing you complain about, negative and with some hostility thrown in. Start something positive instead 
I’m excited for Shadowlands and even with the delays I can’t wait for launch.

It is indeed sad that there is so much negativity on these forums. Literally every topic somehow turns negative; as if there is nothing good ever about any topic.
For me that is 1 of the primary reasons to mostly NOT visit or post here. (next to the lack of interaction with the devs) This due to that toxicity taking the fun out of the game as a whole; just the realisation that these people and their negaitivity are also in the game alone is enough to make it less fun.
You might also want to wonder why you waste your time playing a game for 12 year old kids instead of being productive human being.

I can stop living, I’m thinking about this from few years. And only new content in game stopping me from jumping on train. My two friends killed themself this year, and I’m asking myself “Mabe I shoud too?”. But then I watch on my mount tab. And I see that missing mount and I think, mabe I will try one more time to get him. I do this from years now.
So every time when I thoughts of suicide I log in and check missing mounts. New content keeps me from remembering my life’s mistakes and failures.
The only person who I love is medical worker. So every day she have contant with patients who have covid-19. My life is now even more stresfull than year ago, because I’m worried about her life all time. I see her once per month now because restrictions.
So no people are not all time negative. Just they life make them like this.

This game is literally a hobby. That said, the forums are a bad place for most people and most players actually avoid it. If you really want to have a good talk about the game, join a nice guild.

Complaining on forums is a legitimate hobby. It might not be as productive as refurbishing cars or painting models, but its easier and cheaper to make up for it.

Bing , bullseyes again ! It’s hard enjoying the party when your class is unfairly nerfed the famous prot war general cd screwjob and screaming about it for people to laugh and igonre it and have a good fun , warrior are out of the competition great !
Countless months passed before thick skull and his team decided to throw us a bone and the damage for most of us was done , the x-pack went under my nose and there were and still is no catch up mechanics, yet i /we paid like everyone else to get entertained not to be screwed .
