Patch 3.3.0 feature. People that started with WotLK did not expierneced RDF until the end of the expansion.
You’ve made this far without RDF, so don’t act as if lack of this feature is ruining the game for you. There’s reason why people say “go retail” and it’s all got to do with design philosophy of Classic WoW and older MMOs. It is meant to encourage social interactions between players and try to break anti-social players from playing this game as a single player game only.
I mean just look at Retail. Do you ever talk to people you group up with through RDF? I know I don’t. I won’t see them again anyway. I had way more fun in Classic wiping in Gnomeregan multiple times with a group of strangers that I have found through LFG chat because we talked to each other and worked our way through the dungeon rather than leave the group the moment we wiped. RDF only encourages this behaviour.

No it won’t. Easy dungeons and dual spec will tho.
It was almost a year before Cata.
And we have hindsight to know it should come earlier.

I would certainly welcome it, though it’s not too hard to assemble a party with enough patience, but it sure is a hassle at some times.
I’d agree with the “service” sellers, it would put a brake on these scum practices.
What also would be nice if the new improved AH could be introduced in classic WoW, i mean wading through fifty pages of people trying to trick people into selling stuff too cheaply is getting quite annoying.
Would it be possible to add “modern” auction house instead of this old monstrosity?
