Yea… I mean I would say that as long as you fallow common reasoning that should happen… just hoping we won’t get the good old we don't want to make to many changes
argument again…
Blizzard threw Judgement (and Dragonfang) under the buss by adding layers and upping the black lotus spawn rate. Those measures were direct interventions designed to make life/raiding on full servers more forgiving. Thus lowering the incentive to migrate to lower pop servers and a direct contradiction of what blizzard previously had stated (layers wont return and no changes not in line with spirit of vanilla).
We moved to Judgement because blizzard asked us to spread out, and because we trusted their messaging on layers/changes. The least they could do is admit they didn’t understand the wow classic community’s desire to play on overpopulated servers and offer those who accepted the free migrate to the low pop servers a free/heavily discounted way out.
I wrote many posts on the forum on this subject and sent tickets & improvement suggestions ingame. All I got was a 1 day forum ban. Never an official reply, not from anyone.
In the end, our guild caved and bought transfers to a bigger realm. I, and most of my guildies, feel blizz/activision have stolen ~50€ from each of us. How such a large company can live with costumers feeling scammed is beyond me. Personally I will shun any game they (activision, blizz etc) produce in the future. That should be worth more to the company than what they earn on a few free transfers…
The problem is that the community on Judgement is ~160 raiders. Most players also have other obligations and can’t farm 12h a day. At the moment the farm is pretty much done by two guilds: Phoenix and Oldschool Criminals. I am in awe of their effort, but think it’s ridiculous of blizz to force it on them. Other servers have 8k raiders that can contribute…
And horde side have 0 Raiders, So ally have to farm Horde mats too…
Yeah, which forces them to either have two accounts to farm for both factions, or spend forever on moving stuff across the neutral AH.
The AQ event was supposed to bring realms closer together through a combined effort by “all”, not decimate them due to an eternal grind by a handfull on an empty realm.
Like it was said before Judgement is just one example, help the locked server issue and open transfers on Judgement, Dragonfang and whatnot.
Free transfers alone wont do it. Players on the full realms didn’t use the free transfers in round 1 or 2, before the introduction of layers and extra BL. They certainly wont after these features have been introduced.
For free transfers to work, they need to remove layers and lower the number of players a realm can handle at any given time. Since those measures are completely unrealistic they should instead aim to merge Judgement, Dragonfang (and possibly Flamelash) with Skullflame. That would make Skullflame a perfect server for those that want a more vanilla like population.
Hello team
In those 160 raiders you probably are counting the alts of ppl as well sadly.
This is incorrect. The gates automatically opened in patch 3.0.9 which was 3 years after AQ released. During Wrath of the Lich King.

Small servers like ours obviously need help for the opening of AQ! Even though some of us keep farming, and farming tons cz they wanna open the gates even for the rest that dont do anything, we would need your help to open the gates at the expected time! We wont stop team, lets keep it going!!!
there is literaly no reason to farm on horde side, because we wont be able to do AQ anyway ( we dont have enough people on the server…)
Merge with another low population server or opening free server transfer into Judgement is the best way to solve the issue.
I do not think having a small group of people farming for many hours every day makes is a good representation of what AQ event should have been.
I’d level an alt there in a heartbeat, if you weren’t a PvP server
I can’t be doing with having to pay attention when I am mincing about doing whatever.
Because it’s a ded servo
We are still hoping to get a Blizzard reply on how this server will be healthy. It’s soon one of the most crucial points in the game and we are being left out because no action is taken. It’s unfair to expect us to transfer, especially now that it would only hurt us. Please merge the low pop servers and be done with it.
HALLO HALLO please
There was always an auto completion mechanic even back in Vanilla. On no realm the event took longer than 2 month (the war effort gathering) because there is a 2% auto complete per day. You just have to do the Scepter Questline.
The “Auto Complition” people talk which was added in WOTLK just means they removed the event at all an a new server already has open Gates
In my opinion this really doesn’t change anything.
Judgement and Dragonfang were populated by players who used free migrate from the full realms, to improve the quality of play for everyone, at blizzards request. These realms now have few to no horde raiders and barely any alliance raiders. The AQ war event is brutal to complete on time when only a handfull of players have to grind for both factions. Even with “only” a 2 month delay to the opening of AQ. Blizzard is effectively punishing players for doing as they were asked by blizzard themselves. This by leaving them out to dry on a dead realm with delayed access to content. The only way out is to pay to move your chars (for many that means 100€+ if you want to bring your high lvl alts).
The utter neglect they show these loyal players is (in mild terms) infuriating. It’s the worst level of customer service I’ve ever witnessed.
What you link doesn’t affect what I said. They added automatic opening in wrath (instant open), before that you had automatic completion.
