Jump abusing in WSG

During battlegrounds in Season of Discovery, playing as Alliance, I have noticed that flag carriers seem to dissapear very easily. I wondered if me and my entire team was just blind or enemies were just too sneaky. Untill today, when i witnessed what was going on; On the eastern side of the map on the Silverwing side, it is possible for classes with increased movespeed to make a “jump skip” behind a massive tree. Then they can proceed from there to cross over half the battlefield, while being out of bounds. I believe this gives hordes an unfair advantage in the battleground, as the same is not possible, comming from the warsong side of the battleground. Even the warsong fence, is much lower than the silverwing fence, making it possible for classes with an increased movespeed, to easily jumping over the fence, back and fourth, while the same is not possible on Silverwing side. (Even tho there are some gaps in the silverwing fence, if you know where to jump through).
I guess this might have always been possible, but even though i have played this game for around 17 years, i have never encountered it before.
I hope people have noticed the same thing as me, or atleast begins to take notice when an enemy FC just disappears from the map, to reappear on enemy side.

I posted topic about things like that, looks like no one cares about terrain exploits, esp. blizzard.

You can actually target people behind that big tree and hit them with spells. I believe they purposely left that jump you’re referring to in the game and removed the line of sight blockers for casters. You also don’t need speed boost there’s a hidden ledge between the lower point and upper point. Much the same as the alliance GY wall run.

There is no such skip

There is indeed such a skip.

this would mean crossing from the alli resto hut to the horde zerker hut. there is no way you can skip up the stump that way. i am not aware of any “big tree” you can skip behind

You can skip the big tree behind (behind alliance berserker hut), seen it myself few days ago.

nvm - the least is spoken about these things the better

The good thing about this is that we don’t pay for the game or do we?
-.-

Classic is free for those that pay for a retail sub.

I said this in general

Even if the exploiter is targetable, he still skips every melee class, which are already having a hard time in SoD pvp content. He will also be able to get healed.

#1 This terrain abuse has existed for ages now, the tree stump one especially is quite old.

#2 Complaining here and saying “Blizzard clearly does not care” is 50/50 right at best. They maybe care, but they for sure dont care about what is said on the EU forums. No one here checks or monitors anything. They only way for any action to be taken is if the auto bot detects a swear, insult or a bad word aimed at someone. Or if others report what you said.

Outside of that, the last time someone with any real Blizzard decision making ever saw anything from the EU forums ? Dinosaurs were still roaming the earth.

It is incredible cheesy that players resort to this nonsense to get wins.
I don’t like winning in this way and I certainly hate loosing in this way.

Best bet would be if you try and content the SoD developers over Twitter (X) and perhaps get a response.
Maybe we could get the attention of Josh Greenfield @AggrendWoW

“Terrain exploits are legal” is the response you get when you screenshot someone exploiting in WSG and make a ticket about it.
The irony in their response is that they removed these things in vanilla/classic because it was unfair and classed as exploiting, since you could get out of the battleground and be completely safe in those locations (out of range for enemies to kill you).
It’s purely because of the changes to the ToS (why else would it be exploiting in vanilla/classic but not now?)

Mega gitgud thread. The jumps are easy to do. Learn them and kill the EFC. It is an aspect that adds fun to WSG’s.

Well blizzard gave us an option to report cheating in bgs, i use it often on ppl exploiting.
I dont think anything happen, but maybe if it is automated and they get enough reports that player get a few days rest?

For who?

just report them, there are some druids that literally just hold the flag hostage for 20 mins by just terrain abusing on the sides and doing the “pro” jumps to climb up the tunnel, and they do this just for fun because they have been exalted from p1
