I’m going to faction change my character when I next have money, will it change my posts on the forum or will some of my posts be by an Orc shaman and some by a Draenei shaman?
If you keep the name, your posts will display your new race.
If you change name, you’ll have the posts made by your current character as they are, and new ones will be draenei one.

The post history/TL is tied to your name-realm.
You have to keep the name and realm. Race and faction don’t matter.
Which is why this character has 6756 posts, while…

I have one. I’ve killed old gods and explored ancient lost tombs. I’ve tamed many wild beasts to become my faithful companions and now they’re spending most of their time in a strange stable beyond space and time.
I’ve collected legendary items. I’ve been promoted commander of my own garrison and even all of the hunters!
I have a life!
