Complaining about it not being in at the start and it not being there in the ICC phase are two completely separate things.
The latter is completely understandable since that’s how it was, while the former is just people from private servers complaining since they are used to playing that way.

Accept my opinion, that I’m extremely against RDF, and if they add stuff like RDF, classic isn’t classic for me anymore, and I will not wanna play budget bad graphics retail cataclysm classic with wotlk raids/zones. You want the leveling experience to be at the state, when ICC came out in prepatch of wotlk, so you can afk in a city, and spam dungeons. I would never accept this.

So then start messaging them about not having it in ICC. If I remember correctly you’re fine with adding it in later phase, while others are complaining it not being there from the start.

I’m only fine with it being added later if everything else is progressive too, but that’s clearly not the case. We’re not getting progressive patching.

Never played on a wrath private server.

We have classic and TBCC to know that the dungeon scene completely dies after phase 1 on anything but the biggest of realms and even on those realms it usually takes way longer to form the group than to run the dungeon itself.

In phase 2 of TBC I had to transfer off my so called “medium pop realm” (of raiders according to ironforge.pro) because I was spending too much time trying to do a dungeon only for my attempt to fail because it’s just taking too long.

We have hindsight to know that RDF needs to come earlier than at the second to last phase of the game.

I would love to know how many people made friends while doing dungeons tbh. Most of these classic people are so bad at the game and waste my time that i hope i’ll never see them again.

They’ll just brush this off and tell you that you logged in the wrong time, That you should play healer or Tank, that you should stop being anti social and make 5000 friends, that you should get your guildies to do them with you, that you shouldn’t farm as much as you want and that they didn’t have any trouble doing dungeons so you you’re just making up a problem.

Maybe learn to use the group finder tool properly, or prearrange dungeon runs with your guild in advance, when you do heroics instead trying to alter the game

Why should I? Wotlk brought so much new stuff and i would love to have content that was in game back then also now. They realized Its not 2004 and they need to move on yet now in 2022 theyre moving backward and instead of making quality of life improvements theyre making game less enjoyable while people like you adore them for some unknown reason (i mean youre probably trolling).

It’s 2022 and people are different. Have you ever wondered why there are no new players? It’s not cos they seek interaction. Look at other games like csgo or lol. You log in, que, play then alt f4. Spaming lf tank for x dungeon for hours is not fun. In tbc i tried to do 1 dungeon for like 3-4 days till i was able to find a group just cos theres no point in doing dungeons. In wrath theres going to be same issue. Its actually crazy how these devs are stuck in past and can’t see todays meta.

You are typing on your retail char. Classic doesn’t need to be changed, so you have non-dead retail 2.0 until dragonflight…

I don’t want dungeons to be a daily chore, that I queue up with randoms, and where half the people semi afk (healers). I think RDF ruins the classic wow rpg soul. Nobody has to be social anymore, and if you don’t have to be, you won’t be usually in my experience. It also removes the rpg aspect of having to actually travel to the instance, and this will make the world feel way smaller

I realize you’re in the lucky position of having guildies wanting to run 5 mans with you all day long. You’re in a position where you don’t need either tool and having either tool doesn’t change the game for you one bit.

So what’s your stake in this?
