Just got scammed

I just got scammed 600k gold by a boosting group and i reported the entire thing with screenshots to blizzard. Will they help me and do they usualy get your gold back? I paid 2 Tokens that I cant afford to pay again and i really want this seasons mount :frowning:

Yes I was…havnt had the time to play at all this season and didnt want to miss out on that cool mount since i collect as much as i can

If you’ve reported them all you can do is wait and see what Blizzard do. They should punish the scammers but there is no guarantee you will get your gold back.

They can punish the scammers but they generally won’t give you your gold back as this stuff is treated as “do at your own risk”.

so you like payed them for the boosting service and they logged out without boosting you?

Wait… It looks like he did this with a second Battle.net account. If he also uses VPN and doesn’t have an authenticator on this account while never trading it over to his main, it will be rough for you

just hoping I get a good GM assigned to this and I dont think it will be a problem. But usualy I dont have positive experiences with wow gms so Im not holding out much hope.

That sucks, you probably won’t get your gold back but fingers crossed!

As others said in this post, is not guarantee that you get your gold back. Since boost communities have been banned, you have to be very careful with whom you make deals for a boost, especially considering that the amounts are as high as in your case.

I literaly asked him if theyre a boosting comunity or a guild because I didnt want to get banned myself. He said theyre just friends in the same guild. I sent all the screenshots to the GM

Not that I agree with scamming or buying boosts, but next time pay in instalments.

If they scream loudly about that then walk away.

And thats the issue . Im not blaming you , but the prices are pretty much same everywhere , why go with “groups of friends” when u can go with trusted comunity ??
