Just tried out FF14 for a couple days...I don't even care about fresh tbc anymore

Is it so super fun that you still have time to waste on a bad game’s forum?

Since it took you so long i guess you farmed some gold, mats etc. Can i have them?

Is it? Like look, we have huge hype abou FF14, which is total garbage.

No FF14 is legit a good mmorpg, there is a consensus about that since its remake. The question was “is it enough good to make players switch ?” At first, the answer was “no”. As it has consistently become better over the years, and wow worse, now the answer is debatable.

Well uts a free download. Instead of watching someone else you shoulda tried it even for 20 minutes.

It’s not worth the time or even the attention.

It’s a very bad game.

Good for you, enjoy your fluffy bunnies and weird sh*t

But it’s not. It is not even have an open world, or world PvP.
There is no “mmorpg” in FF14 at all.

OK your opinion is in the minority and goes against a large consensus ; it is your right.

But you spent time watching someone else play it, instead of playing it yourself.

Thats the whole point.

But it’s not. Most people know that FF is literally trash game and IP overall, except anime girls, who we don’t count for a reasons.

Thats why ffxiv has 40% more numbers than wow, cuz its”trash” stay in wow. We dont need u in ffxiv or new world:))

Yay cute anime, fluffy animals, kindness and sharing, lets craft together!

This is WARcraft… We don’t do any of that sh*t here

Your choice, played wow 14 years.

I preffer any “shhit” than actiblizz robery nowadays:))

clashofclans or something have even more playrs, so what?

This world PvP you speak of is just people ganking when they know they’re guaranteed to win, i.e: the other player is fighting mobs and has low health.
It is in my opinion the by far worst aspect of Classic WoW, definitely not some redeeming factor. I wouldn’t mind it of someone tried to have a fair fight in the open world, but that accounts for at most 0.1% of open world PvP.

Enjoy it bro, every ship must have some man on duty when it sinks.

Have fun!

I always have the stream highlights youtube video running while i do other things

Does not natter what he plays.

So it’s not like i specificlly watched it for FF, Just that the short glances i got off of the game looked horrible.

It does not look like something that is worth the time.

  • i’ve heard & seen nothing but bad things about the game as well.

Stuff that i consider bad ofc… but is probably ”Good” things to other people.

Any way, FF is the only MMORPG i would not even touch even if someone paid me.

It is just bad, pretty much every thing i hate put into 1 game.

FF14 is a pretty good game. I have done all of Shadowbringers’ savage raids, which are equivalent to mythic raids. I have leveled to 80 Astro,Mechanist,Bard and Dancer. The gameplay is solid. The 2.5 sec GCD gets negated with instant spells off GCD. The raids are easier than WoW’s but a lot more fun. There are no frustrating mechanics that requier class stacking or cheesing. Fights are stright forward, with a very tight (before we over geared it) enrage timers. It insentive healers to do damage. Dungeons are a combination of M+, with the way trash is pulled and raid mechanics. They actually teach you the basics: stack markers, spread markers, dodge mechanics and so on, which you will need to do during raids. The older content is not irrelevant. You have daily quests that send you in lower level dungeons, where your item level is scaled down. FF14 is a very good game. Bonus points, they don’t have political correct developers. You can literally raid a black fat chocobo and can make transmogs as skimpy as you like.

EASIER? LOL you aren’t really selling it to us

Yes, raids a lot easier than Mythic WoW. They are like a dance, as long as you know what mechanics comes after, you are set to go. There is no RNG, there is no emergency situations, where I need to blow CDs in order to stabilize the raid. I know exactly what to do after each swing the boss does, after each mechanic and what comes next. I progressed as Astro shield healer and it was fairly easy to preshield the raid whenever I needed to.
DPS rotation is stright forward as well, like in retail WoW, but with a lot less procs, making it more predictable and easier to plan your CD windows. As I said, I played and killed bosses on both a Mechanist and Dancer. Mechanist is a pure dps, while dancer is a support dps that buffs the raid. Dancer, frankly is easier to play, because of how the class works with its procs. Mechanist has a CD window every 2 minutes, which you need to plan around, but nothing too convoluted. I know that Ninja and Black mage are the hardest classes to play, which I haven’t tried, but seing how I know 100% what the boss will do next, I doubt it’s too hard to preposition myself.
Shiva was the hardest boss I pulled and it took us sub 100 attempts. In comparison mythic Ghuun took my, at the time world 600 guild 320 pulls.
If you think savage raids are harder than mythic, I don’t think you have progressed the last raid bosses of the past 3 expansions, excluding Xavius.
