No. I didn’t expect anything but WoD 2.0. And this is, for all intents and purposes, WoD 2.0. A fan service expansion which brings back old characters. WoD brought WC1/2 characters and now SL is bringing back the WC3 ones.

To be fair, so far there are very few rehashed additions.
Not saying there won’t be more once they leak additional info, but so far it isn’t half as blatant as i expected it to be.
And given the awful treatment the BC gave them, i’ll admit that i’m more willing to accept their return if only to see if they manage to salvage something good out of their arch.

It’s not certain that eye color is for playable blood elves.
For all we know it is for the High elves npcs

Well, yes. Also red eyes on the alive Blood Elves is pretty big question. Maybe all those eyes in the list are just stored there as an update of glowing effect.
One user is sharing those on a Discord. There are no info about where those files will be used. Just files like that:

Last I checked, the dragons pre-dated Aviana.
Chances are we’ll see her in Ardenweald.
But then again, the lore is constantly being rewritten so I stopped caring. If they can’t bother being consistent, I can’t be bothered re-learning it over and again.

We got new Night Elves changes. There will be now a blond Night Elves!
btw also Hightborn and Nightborne skin colors.
We can actually make a High Elf now, with this customization.
Seeing all those old models revamped is never a good sign, I mean sure its good on the paper but in reality all that spoon-fed nostalgia never did us any good.

No, you can make a Highborne or pale night elf, or a very dark night elf. They’ll resemble their later evolutions ofcourse, but they are the originals 
While one can hope, I doubt it honestly. I mean they death (unless Blizzard magically brings alot of these characters to life again? Or maybe they’ll cross over for a short while aslong as the veil is broken?)
