What is the Heart of the Forest?

We’ve suffered many losses through the horrors that our kin have faced over the years. It can often make us feel at a loss succumbing to desperation, our sense of direction blinded by a veil of darkness.

During these times we should look to each other for strength in unity, give one another courage and hope to face on those that threaten our way of life. We shall continue to live on, laugh and love.

This is why I bring to a silver lining, I call it the Heart of the Forest. Bringing together the alliance of Kalimdor, we shall strive to preserve the balance protecting our kin and removing the taint from our home. Festivities to boost morale among the soldiers and civilians, and much more.

What can be expected to happen?

Just about anyone can create an event for those involved within the community, or even outside of it. I’m wishing to make it clear that the community is heavily oriented around Kalimdor as a whole. You need only just poke myself within the thread or in-game to place something upon the noticeboard.I myself will be using that as a platform to promote events for others to be engaged in too. You can expect things such as, but not limited too:

  • Markets
  • Tournaments
  • Social Gathering
  • Discussions
  • Rituals
  • Small Campaigns
  • And More.

The noticeboard up top will always remain as up to date as possible with upcoming events, campaigns and so on that are going on in the Kalimdor alliance community.

Will it require sign ups?

No, unless there’s a planned campaign for one of these. Otherwise anyone and everyone from the alliance is quite welcome to pop by and participate. I’m quite happy to keep a list of guilds, although there is one already provided by Mythundis so that people know which guilds tends to be quite active within the Kalimdor roleplaying community and where to find them/who to contact.

Where?

It won’t be stuck to one location, the host of each Heart of the Forest event can pick a location or set it towards a vote if they wish. I feel I should say provided it is allocated in Kalimdor and within an alliance situated area (arguments can be made for neutral zones.)

Intriguing event and even more intriguing ideas for more potential RP about our allies from Kalimdor. I was wondering if my own Lightforged could participate in any of this, otherwise I will surely check it up on my new Night Elf. :smiley:

Since we’re coming around to our event tomorrow to initialise this entire IC community. I’d like to remind people what’s on!

  • The Nightblades and Maidens of Elune will be putting on a service to Elune as opening to the night.

  • After that, I’ll be using an NPC Priestess to sort of give a general idea on this gathering is for and what they’re trying to build.

  • Finishing off the night with some socialising, as well as the Hand of Cenarius acting out a formulated play for others to watch!

Hoping this kicks it off the ground, I’ve a few public events in mind to host for us in the future!

Thank you for stopping to the beginning of what I hope to be a community driven initiative. Mythundis touched upon a particular question from IC perspect that I’d to expand upon OOC.

Whilst this aims to provide bond/ties between guilds and players, there’s only so much I on my own can provide for others to get involved it. Be it some combat styled dming, social events or anything along the lines. If we want something like to work, and work effectively it requires everyone to be pulling their weight into it, so that it can prosper grow and bring further life into Kalimdor. Further fulfilling and interactive roleplay to be had. I’m hoping that’s just what will happen with time!

Hey I’ve been doing a multitude of things at once, but hopefully around September I should have a few open events available for people to attend as they wish. Furthermore a potential campaign for the alliance community further down the line!
