Hey all - I’ve recently returned after years of not playing (about 4 expansions)
I recently got to level 100, and a quest took me near Karazhan, so while I was there I thought I’d kill some stuff.
Went through and solo’d most of the dungeon. Ended up exiting out of the side door.
Now whenever I go back through the front door, it takes me back through the side entrance near the opera hall.
I’ve right clicked my portrait and reset all raid instances, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect.
I want to reset it so I can try and get the horse mount from the first boss.
Just to clear up, were you doing the raid or the dungeon? You mentioned dungeon but then said mount from the first boss, which isn’t the case in the dungeon.
In any case, Karazhan raid works in a different way than current normal/heroic raids. You cannot reset it, and are only able to kill each boss once on the character you are running it with during the reset. Though even if Karazhan worked with the current normal/heroic raid rules, resetting it to farm the mount would do nothing as you don’t get loot beyond your first kill of that reset anyway.
As for the dungeon, the mount only drops from mythic mode (if I recall right anyway), which you can only run once per reset which would explain why you can’t reset it.
There is indeed a dungeon. It was added in Legion, so it’s for lvl 110. Looking at the entrance of the raid, you go right and there’s a bridge up in the air, connecting to the side of Karazhan which has the entrance to the dungeon.
Yes, raids (and mythic dungeons) reset every Wednesday morning at 9am server time for EU. So they reset just this morning and this reset won’t be over until the next Wednesday morning.
