If I can’t migrate my character to a Wrath of the Lich King Classic server, that will be the end of Classic Progression servers for me.

I personally started playing in wrath and I haven’t come back yet due to illness, so I finally get a few people talked into it, get back online and 2 days into levelling find that it’s being downgraded to cata.
So I’m going to cancel my sub and take my 4 other mates to a server like wow mania as there is now nothing good to play on wows severs.
What a joke.

They had almost 2 years and it has the same numbers as TBC. Very few people liked phase 1, even less phase 2 and 3; and ICC lasted 2 weeks before a big drop.
Now and since December, the only people still playing are prepping for Cataclysm.
They will enjoy the private server, for 2 or 3 days, then they will quit again.
Hey we want 2. Us PvE players also want Wrath home.

When I figure out they will just patch Cata over Wrath, my heart suddenly stopped for a moment… could not believe!
I came to official blizz to play Wrath, after my prv server patched two more expansions over Wrath, ruining my play experience completely, as I do not have a lot of time to play and was always behind with raids and everything; I heard Blizz has Wrath servers and I jumped up, overjoyed! Despite the fact that I am not really in the position to sustain with serenity the subscription, I paid for it and dwelled into Wrath, enjoying every moment of it… Now… I am stunned, standing in the middle of Dalaran, staring at people around me and willing to scream out all my frustration: IT HAPPENS AGAIN!!!
I just wanna play Wrath… what is wrong with it, that the whole world stands between me and that? Do I really have to go back to prv servers, seeking for a corner of Wrath for me? Do I have to start digging and try to make my own Wrath server? What do I have to do to not see the mess the Cataclysm does to the lands I love?.. It hurts me deeply… and I do think I will take a break. Maybe return later, if I find the strength to bring myself up with all the changes? Or just sigh deeply and uninstall all, trying to forget about it, after all? Perhaps I am to old for this…should go knit something, instead of playing WoW…

It seems many people wanted the same thing as me and that is a permanent WOTLK server and I bet the majority of them didn’t bother coming to these forums, they just left to play something else or went back to the private servers.
I can’t understand why blizzard didn’t wanna keep a TBC and a WOTLK server for each region when they have threads on both US and EU forums about it, instead they decided to make changes to the current vanilla servers, because thats what players want and they ,listen to their players’’
Also they kept and still keeping classic, sod, cata, retail EMPTY servers, it doesn’t make sense.
Its not like those that wanted to play only TBC or only WOTLK are gonna stay. So don’t mention the ,more versions, less people on each of them’’
I guess it was good to be home for a couple of years, this was my last month, unsubbed aswell.
