It dosent. Keys above a 12+ will still deplete. Its the ones bellow a +12 that wont.

IMO the only ones that it truly benefits are those that want to farm crests at the most efficient rate. Thats about it.

Still waiting for confirmation if its char or account bound. If later then might be useful for your alts to have an “unbreakable” key for gearing/vault chore.

But I saw some streamer videos and they considered a variable I did not consider:

Crests now are awarded by difficulty. So the most efficient way to farm crests will be to spam 12+ keys. Gone are the days where you could sit all day doing +8s go gear up.

So IMO its not even a benefit to alts. Because usually (at least I do) people play alts at lower keys than their main. So having an unbreakable +8 is not that big of an advantage.

It means you would still be in the current situation where you need to do 90 +8s to get your crests. You can get that down to 10 or so if you farm 12+ though.

So it dosent benefit low key players. It dosent benefit alts either. It dosent benefit key pushers… It dosent benefit people that just do 8 +10s for vault…

It benefits nobody. Even if its account wide.

Having your key bricked from 10 to 9 by some clown on first pull who ragequited and for many 9 is already considered a “dead” key when it comes to doing vault chore…

Edit: just to clarify there are raiders who do m+ purely as an chore needed for raid progression, hence their rio might not be that high so they wont get insta-invited to any +10 they apply OR attract the best people to signup for their keys either. So having 10 key to quickly do their vault chore without worry about having clowns wrecking it…

But to get the “privilege” of not having that key deplete you need to TIME everything on a +12 FIRST. If you think having a +10 bricked to a +9 is frustrating… wait until you have to ping/pong 11+/12+.

Because let me remind you that keys above a 10 give ZERO rio if you don’t time it. Even if its by a 1s overtime. And its tradition not only for 1 person to quit if its not timeable, but the WHOLE party to quit.

Because nobody is there for gear (including you). They are there for RIO. And if you don’t time the key, its a total waste to stay in that key. Including for you. So YOU want to leave a doomed key as fast as possible as well.

Nobody complains either. Its normal. Its the “thing” of the “push rio” game-play.

So… if THAT is the main reason you don’t want depletes… be prepared for the price you will have to pay to get that privilege… You wont enjoy it.

Basically. The only reason to not make it a nightmare for you is to nerf the dungeons significantly. But if they DO nerf dungeons, the likelihood of “not timing that 10+” becomes extremely unlikely. Making that “ragequit clown” very unlikely to leave.

Nerfing dungeons would be equivalent to saying that myth track gear vault is achieved by timing a +7 or +8 instead of a +10. So in that situation you would not need this “no deplete” achievement to begin with.

You first need to time everything on a +12. If you do, you got a crazy high rio for a +10.

Like me. Even though I haven’t played a single key for 1 month now. If I were to log in right now I would get insta invited to any key, with any spec (DD or Healer) for any +10.

In fact. I can get my warrior with significantly less rio. But because it says next to my alts name “main has 3000 rio” I would still get insta invited to a +10.

Changes nothing really.

You can put whatever reward there
No one will do it cause it simply not FUN
S3 as uda said was EPIC because it was easy fun and even dungeon were OK
S1 of TWW missed mainly because they nerfed everything that worked for people in DF
From easily canceling stuff in dungeons
to changing dungeons from 1-20 to 1-10 it squished difficulty.
They even missed the myth track from great vault.
In DF S3 you just need to do 18 that was so easy to do…
now it’s 10 and pepole have problem with it because as i said diff is squished to 1-10

So even if you give everyone a free 3 month gametime for completely 1 +12 no one will care :smiley:

Again. We are talking about just doing a +10 m+ for the vault. I am not doing +11/+12 and above for an alt’s vault chore. So whenever its timed or not. 4/4 or 8/8 vault will still accept your “2h NW run” for example.

I believe that appears only if you use the rio addon. Some dont. Also 2nd thing. Having 3k rio on an dps, doesnt automatically make you a “3k rio worthy healer or tank”. A lot of people knows this and thus invite…accordingly.

Oh sure. I will take a guildy run over a toxic cesspol pug run run on any day of the week. But sometimes you want to push for 8/8 but guildies just want the bare min 4/4 or even just 1 run. So you have to branch out. While I avoid pugging as much as possible. I sadly haven’t been able to fully reduce my pugging ratio to zero yet.

What i meant is that in order for your 10+ not to deplete you need to get an achievement first:

Get to 2850 Rio. THEN you unlock the “no depletes” privilege. And 2850 rio is most dungeons on a 12+.

The journey to 2850 rio, if its similar to this season is something you wont like to do. If your goal is to just do 10s for the vault.

That is what i was referring to.

Much better than a DPS that only does 10s for vault and has 2500 rio.

When i quew as a DPS (warrior arms D tier off-meta) i wait maximum 10 minutes for a 10. Courtesy of 3k rio of my main.

Far from the experience others have.

Yes. Like I said. Its for alts. Push m+ on your main then can do some chill +10s on your alt without worry.
And coming from personal experience. Having a nice laid back chill alt to fall back from “sweatlording main”…can be healthy. :rofl:

And yes. Chill time with alts is healthy. I agree.

However, i still think its a stupid move. Because maybe none of us would need alt’s if playing with our main was less sweaty.

And depletes are a major contributor to the swetiness.

Why oh why oh why the caveat? Just change the system, it is clearly frustrating to everyone. The message this sends is “we’ll save you mega-M±player, screw the rest of you!” which I find more offensive than them having done nothing.
