Key depletion finally gone!

Can’t speak about others, but I don’t do 12’s because the challenge isn’t fun. I’m not particularly interested in “mobs and bosses get move %stat”, I like doing affixes and this season basically does nothing for me.

There was a ban wave recently for it hope they keep it up and take out the trash from mythic plus. Now they just need to fix the needlessly punishing affixes

It is a very weird change for strange purpose that solves little problem.

Again, just remove the keystones and adopt torghast/delve entry format.

Then adjust the M+ level difficulties and item requirements.

It needs a foundamental big change than this small non fixes.

I think this is them testing the waters to see what affect it will have on groups if they no longer deplete.

I’m not even high enough score to qualify atm :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Very close though.

I think it is more a split of groups. With the extra difficulty affix for +12 and the removal of the other affixes. So when people made the jump to timing 12’s they do not need to go back to affixes. Or something like that.

I got myself yesterday over the 2850.

I’ve not really done anything other than weekly keys for a while. I guess 2850 is the new goal next season.

Gz on yours!

I am not sure what this 2850 should mean
I have now 5 out of 8 timed 12’s. It sound like such a random number.

Well Blizzard are idiots then.

They should have done this in S4 of DF… instead of simply abandoning it for 4 months in a row.

Now they are potentially ruining my experience in S2 as well. Which I would find really, really sad.

Wanna play ? I can heal you.

But only with 1 paladin. Doing it 300 times with 300 paladins might be a bit too much for me.

Note that this bonus is not without a punishment, the affix changes make the leap from +11 to +12 a bit harder.

Sparkle

I actually only gear one pala tbf. Alts are mostly just support roles.

Another swing and miss by Blizzard, catering towards the smallest amount of players whilst people throughout all key levels have been asking for this for ages.

No, that’s your experience. Mine too. But I have spoken to plenty of people who think that +8 is hard.

Imagine a 5 man when everyone in party doesn’t know mechanics, doesn’t kick. Gets hit by every mechanic. They click spells. They don’t know what drs are.

Usually 1 or 2 people can carry the key. If all 5 were clueless the failure could happen at a relatively low key.

Just remove all depletes. I don’t think anyone is super psyched about it. It’s not a “good” system

To most people a +8 is hard, I am in an m+ community and I see these sorts of comments. As usual this change is Blizzard doing the minimum possible to please the 1% and no-one else

Well surely some seasons are more fun than others. But I’m talking strictly on this mechanic. If there isn’t incentive to go higher than max vault it will only be people that enjoy the challenge, go for score etc.
On the other hand if there is some incentive, there might be players that go a bit higher for this achievement. Keep in mind that you could still manually lower your 12 vault key to 10 and do weekly 10s, so I think those people that go for weekly vault and can get that score will benefit the most.

I agree that older affixes were more fun. Also in higher keys % increases become kinda wierd. On one hand you need to be focused because getting hit by one thing kills you, on the other hand dungeons are not designed for long fights. So you get bosses that spam like 3 short mechanics over and over in contrast with raids that are more tuned for longer fights.
Surely one change cannot make everyone happy nor will it make everyone push keys. I’m just guessing that those that play more casually just for weekly vault will be the ones most benefitted from this as long as they can reach the score.

Well we did have a seasons where there was no reward benefit to doing 20s besides the portals in SL, so if someone could find the participation charts for Sl and then compare them to idk BfA and check if players cap out at KSM, best loot drop or KSH. Idk KSL doesn’t sound all that enticing to make more people start doing 12s.

I disagree with that as well. If you end up in a really bad group, the team should surrender and be asked about the situation. If the majority wants to stop, then it shouldn’t be continued. This is a group activity, maybe you’re the worst in the group, but you want to leave because you think your teammates are playing poorly? The best way to know this is to have a surrender option in non-premade runs.

Despite the recent ban wave, it seems that Blizzard’s enforcement team is still struggling to effectively address toxic behavior. I reported a player who was repeatedly using abusive language and harassment in-game, providing concrete evidence in the form of videos and photos. However, I only received an automated response stating that my report was being reviewed. Disappointingly, the offending player continues to be active in-game without any apparent consequences. This lack of action undermines Blizzard’s commitment to fostering a positive gaming environment and suggests that more needs to be done to protect players from toxic behavior.

So TL:DR = Don’t do stuff with pugs till you get your “deplete immunity” at score 2850?

Waiting for the “omgeez evil gatekeeping Blizzard elitists” whines now…

Or just leave instead of being held hostage because Stoner Billy wants a +10 for his vault but cannot be bothered to interrupt the incap in GB.
