This is likely the logic which got you kicked from the group OP, the majority of the community isn’t like this but there’s a portion who are in all MMO’s sadly.

it’s no big deal honestly. I can ask to kick someone and the reason is “I don’t like that person”, because maybe I was in a dungeon with them berfore and they behaved like an a** and I want to be spared the grief.
I do agree with Greelix however, people like that are probably the reason you got kicked. People take normal dungeons way too seriously. You wouldn’t be invited to M+ if your ilvl wasn’t up to snuff, unless it was your key and you wanted to be carried.
What puzzles me is, why you get the dungeon deserter debuff when you get kicked. maybe Punyelf can answer that question because I never understood why, I don’t believe you should, only when you leave on your own free will.

Any good or old player has an ego and you simply have to play around that.

Things like having out a void walker if there is a competent tank is a huge no no.
Things like ninja pulling and standing in fire is a huge no no.
Things like not interrupting is a huge no no.
Tacking other peoples packs without actually helping is a huge no no.
Dissrespecting the tank or healer is a huge no no.

And many many more.

Good players might …old players dont they respect the old ways and treat people the same and help.

Void walker has taunt turned off now soon as you enter and is the best AOE dps pet .

This is correct .

Below level 40 most classes dont have interupts .

That is awful .

You can disagree with them if they are impolite but they should never be feared .

yeah, if I am the tank and the warlock has a void walker out I kindly ask him/her to switch to imp or something instead for more dps, if they don’t I will initiate a kick, I do the same with hunters that have growl turned on on their pets. I kindly ask them to turn it off, I even offer to explain to them how to do it, if they ignore me I kick them, because you are either being a troll then or you aren’t paying attention, either of those things are not acceptible.

hmm that’s actually useful, I’m glad they changed the void walker that way. but still, hunter pets with growl turn on = no no.

Thats auto turned off aswell now in dungeons which is great :slight_smile:

I see, I guess players don’t have to fear anything then the game does everything for you, you can play what you like. andd yes, that is fantastic, I hate having to ask people “silly questions” :slight_smile:

Please do because the more reports go in something needs to change .
I love leveling hunters means i can quest and dungeon and easily get the allied race mogs but so far i havent experinced any of that thankfully .

I did notice it occasionally turning back on but I never linked it with leveling up I guess. Gonna keep an eye on that now and if that’s truly the reason I’m gonna report it, thanks! (Although reporting a bug in BfA does feel a bit like sneezing against the wind tbh.)

I once got kicked as a Tank because some eager dps.
We were doing fine but mr eager beaver (dps) kept trying to pull ahead.

When I asked one of the others why I was kicked, he replied.
“I dont know I never read the text”
That pretty much sums up 99% of all kicks, so dont worry to much about it.

Only time in my dungeon group we kicked someone was because he was throwing a temper tantrum at us because we didn’t follow him and because we decided to do bonus objectives instead of killing the main bosses and we did finish them at the end but he was impatient and he was yelling at me and the tank and our healer for that stupid reason and decided not to go with a group so we were 4 instead of 5.So me and the tank and healer and one rogue dps decided to vote kick him cause he was yelling at us for no reason but his stupidity easily we replaced him with another normal dps that’s my story.

Some people just hate levelling, I know I do. I’m tanking at present levelling a toon as I’m more or less finished until 8.2 on main save for an occasional M+ or raid boss.

Anyway when I do tank I round up as many things as I know I can survive through. I played the class I’m leveling now as tank on the Old Heroic difficulty so I know what it can and can’t survive. But I just want done with levelling so it is rush, rush, rush.

BTW I hardly ever kick anyone unless they are wasting the groups time acting the maggot. I don’t even care if someone AFKs because in looms despite their nerf you could almost solo those places.
