Kicked from group because I put a marker on tanks head!

There are no presets. The reasons sometimes make sense but other times are simply words I can’t say on here.

When someone needs removing and you’ve all had enough ;lgkja;lsdkjf is sometimes the reason. Because everyone just wants that person out ASAP.

Nope, simply the removed message.
No reason listed.

That would be like those questions you get asked when unsuscribing from whatever service. People would be too lazy to answer them and will try to avoid it just because.

So when someone initiates a kick they type in the reason why? But the person that gets the kick wont see why they were kicked?

Would be better if they didn’t leave a blank box where you can write any old reason, but instead a list of options and all party members must select the same reason (one) from the list in order to remove the player.

Just trying to figure out how everyone that comes to the forum knows why they were removed from the group

Exactly. The player also does not even see there is a kick request going on. You are just immediately out by surprise

It is of little use for them to see the reason. There are no presets.

‘You were a completely horrible human being to the group’ (I’m rephrashing obviously) isn’t going to make any difference to that person.

Everyone will only dispute and argue any reason they are given.

If you are removed and you constantly pulled for the tank, do you really need to be told that?

If your team constantly died cos you weren’t in healer spec or had no idea what you were doing. Do you really need to be told that?

Thats how it works.

Unless you partied up with some people in this thread who would have threatened you with a kick because of a or b.

And if you get kicked you know why. Otherwise its a guessing game.
And thats the reason threads like these arent useful if they dont offer solutions.

Because we can never judge the kick, maybe a kicked player wasnt performing properly etc etc.

People tend to keep information out that will hurt their case / cause.

Makes sense, i just would never have guessed i got kicked for putting a mark on the tank unless something was said about it before i was kicked :woman_shrugging:t3: I would just assume they thought i was a horrible healer or something instead

You have to remember 9 times out of 10 there is more to every story than what people tell

It’s like prison being full of innocent people, I didn’t do nuffin!

Thats why i ask, cause i dont know how the system works  hopefully i’ll never have to pug either

But at the same time WoW has a fair share of horrible people that kick for ‘giggles’ or some other daft reason. Kindergarten has better functional individuals at times :stuck_out_tongue:

I once got kicked. I was tanking in Scholomance normal and they said “pull more or kick” so I pulled more and I died - they kicked me anyway!

On the other side. i have seen a good amount of kicks, but i always had to press “no”. There are probably moments when people gets kicked for a good reason, but i have to seen one yet.

My last kick was from VotW random heroic where i had to save someone, getting aggro, died, the group jumped down the elevator and pulled inquisitor. I released and since the boss was pulled the elevator was not working. I got kicked and i wispered why, and they say “no heal”. Right…

There will always be unpleasant people in the world. Put them on ignore, never run into them again.

When the store helms first came out (that have now gone away for a while) they were kicking people for wearing them.

It’s still a majority rule system. It is not a reportable offense to be removed for a reason you didn’t agree with.

I have to say I’ve mostly been very pleasantly surprised at most groups resilience to refrain from voting people out for silly reasons.

I have to say that I’ve had to do that more in BFA than in Legion. Luckily 90% of the time I play with the wife so we can avoid some unlucky person getting a kick from someone on a powertrip.

putting someone on ignore doesnt stop them from being in same group as you in LFG/LFD and they can even apply and join your custom groups.

ignore system is a major joke. limited to 50 btw :))) no one knows why

You will never ignore me Bukachu!
