I was the tank and I just got kicked out of the Plaguefall dungeon for not skipping first boss.
The other DDs were constantly writing, caps writing and staring at me while I simply told them “I don’t want to skip”. Next thing I know I am getting kicked.
Does nobody care anymore about those kind of situations, Blizzard Staff ??? I pay monthly to play not to get kicked by a bunch of lunatics kids
Next time don’t waste time writing and simply pull the boss. They can still kick you, but at least you won’t get a debuf.

HC and normal Dungeons have been an absolutely awful experience.
I did a HC for the first time in months about 2 weeks ago, Halls of Atonement. Kill 1st boss, Tank & healer leave, new tank and healer join, tank instantly leaves, new healer leaves, other DPS eventually leave.
Why? Because people only want to get their Legendary.
people in normal dungeons are crazy , they are spamming dungeons like crazy to level up fast , so yes they are very toxic , and are tilted to spam 35 dungeons

Someone is going to comment with the whole “majority decided to skip so they’re in the right” and while technically correct its still really annoying when this happens and something should be done really. Something like give the xp boost at the end for doing all bosses not just the last one.
Some of us are just trying to level, not win a race.
They should just add all the dungeons. There’s no point having 4 locked to max lvl.
It sucks if you want to kill it all. End of the day if the group wants to skip though, and the other 4 agree. You should just skip it, and not assume you’re the boss of the run as the tank.
I can see both sides of the arguments. Side A. Normal dungeons drop trash ilevel loot around 130 who cares, exp time baby! Side B. I’m learning dungeons and want to see the boss mechanics now whilst it’s chill.
You’re not gonna learn mechanics in a normal, though. Half of them aren’t there to begin with, the other half you won’t see because the boss melts. The few you see, everyone ignores, because they do nothing on normal. Time well spent, eh?

It’s a group activity, there are certain dungeons throughout the expansions where bosses are skipped. You just have to go with what the majority want. I don’t even bother asking with Plaguefall anymore. Everyone seems to skip now.
It is far better to skip and not get kicked, than it is to expect four other people to bow to your wishes. There is no harm in asking ofc, some groups can be willing but most just want the fast efficient route.

Dungeons are not solo play, they are group activities. By all means ask but other players aren’t always going to want to do what you want to do.

Typically I’ve had no problem if I mention I need it for a quest, even if it’s a lie. People often comply.
But you want to tell them how to play. How is that any different.

what makes me/my side weaker and in need to give up? just because I complain on forums? why not go tell them what you told me about group activity and so on
You don’t get to tell four other players how to play. That would be selfish. It’s a group activity. Whilst some groups want to clear all, other groups want to skip.
the difference is I am skipping 1st boss of plaguefall since shadowlands aired, maybe once I want to decide that I don’t want to skip, and maybe as a tank i can have that 1 time in my life? or this is prohibited since this “is a group activty” and I should obey to the others?
True to an extent, but that’s exactly what OP is about - Blizzard designing the dungeon in such a way that it allows skipping.
