Agreed… i remember playing vanilla. And i inspected this warlock… he had purple gear that gave bonuses, i was amazed at the time… i asked where you could get such gear… he told me about raiding and MC ect.
So if i wanted that kind of gear i had to get a guild and start communicating with other people, so i did.

the only people that want mythic to not have ilvl or gear associated are the same players that have no raider io installed in game or hide their profile 
absolute clowns that think the game will survive without the gearing threadmill that has kept some players hooked for years

Yes, you can get the mythic achievement, but ilvl for mythic raiding is idiotic considering how hard it is. It should just drop the same as heroic, end of story. The things you gain from mythic should just be cool sets/gear/maybe a recolour of a mount, that also drops in heroic

Why? Why does it being hard mean its idiotic… it does mean your average player always has something to work on, so that would be good wouldn’t it?

Todays WoWs only strength are their verticle progression systems over ffxiv lol
no harder content should give better items for the time you invest in to it
ppl still doing that when they start for the 1. time.
you know back then you could kill MC blind… you cant do Ms without actual big effort.
= insane player gap and blizzard is trying to fix. and only way to fix it is via esports. sorry. otherwise the game will colapse. i can tell you from normal guilds. they are losing interest since cata cos they make raiding too hard. to scale with insane player base.

Because of the ilvl, not just because it’s hard. Way more people would raid, if they got the best gear from heroic. People should be able to get the best gear in the game for playing semi-hardcore. Anything else is ridiculous, and the state of wow raiding is a state of slow death.
Most people, who clear mythic, do it to sell boosts/carries, because a normal person with a job usually simply has no time for it.

A transmog recolour is enough. Gear for mythic raiding is incredibly idiotic. It just turns wow into a pay2win fiesta even further for 90% of players. Why should semi-hardcore get worse ilvl gear than boosters? No justification for it in a video game full of boomers

The average skill has changed over the last 18 years… back then most people didnt know what dispell or interrupt was… so while going back today means most can do it blindfolded didn’t mean they could back then.

yes and it was a mistake you cant follow player skill level. its bigger and bigger every year. the blind road.

Blizzard has tried to get more to raid and do dungeons since patch 1.0.
The thing they’ve learned from that? No matter how easy you make the content. Most people will never do it.
People have better to do than raiding 4 nights a week to reach the last boss. Hard to swallow pill for alot of neets. People also want the best gear in the game though for playing on a semi-hardcore level, but blizzard gatekeeps it, so players buy tokens to get boosted through mythic raids

How is that relevant… if you look at stats biased towards your view i can do the same…
It clearly was a great patch since most people had something to work towards the whole patch…

when you want to do Mythic raid now… you have to have coach sometimes… or BOOST
