Think anyone who has had anything to do with private servers would say that classic really wouldn’t measure up to any of them, and would be abandoned pretty quickly if it was a private server.
Let’s see how quickly will Classic get abandoned. With all the persisting bugs that may never be solved, the passion may fade over time. And then hurrays back to privates!
Haha exactly, people would not play Classic if it would be private server :D.
So many bugs not fixed since start of Classic, so many exploits. GMs not answering, bots still in game even after many times reported… quite shame for blizzard.
Honestly, it’s sad to say but I have had better experience on Nostalrius, Elysium and Kronos than on Classic. Whether it is with the Devs, the events or the community or the mechanics…
I would not be surprised if, in the following months, Vanilla private servers are opening but emulating it better.
Nostalrius team, if you read this, please do it in Russia
My friend played on Kronos before classic release, and he says the same thing. The GMs were players that actually played the game and genuinly cared. You could almost always get hold of one through discord.
The developers really wanted the game to stay true to the vanilla experience, that doesnt mean every stat on every mob must be exactly the same as it was back in the day at the last patch. They took the best parts of the vanilla era and fined tuned it to fit with todays players.
They knew how the itemization would affect the content and why you shouldnt just put out everything in their final state.
They genuinly cared about the vanilla experience, Blizzard seem more keen on having everything be as they were in its final state. Down to every stat #nochanges.
Then go back.
Make it apparent to Blizzard that they need to do better and unsub and stop playing.
Complaining in a forum that they don’t read won’t get you anywhere.
