After reporting the issue to Blizzard, they told me to revert nVidia graphic drivers to 452.06 or lower. It seems that latest graphics drivers have a lot of performance problems with World of Warcraft and other games. I have installed version 452.06 and the problems seems to be solved, even with Afterburner running. Nevertheless, I have to do more to test.
The only issue? I am having is that green circle on top of the screen that says that new content is downloading (al least in Nazjatar).
I agree that the problems of the game are not only related to graphic drivers. Since the last major patch (the size of the game incresed from approximately 60GB to 80GB), there have been numerous problems that cannot be attributed solely to drivers or system configuration. I hope that in the next weeks all of them would be addressed.
I updated my system from Win7 to Win10 yesterday and started getting those FPS drops AGAIN (I had them in the past but some patch fixed them). Nothing else changed in my config.
I already updated system and drivers to latest versions.
Nothing is fixed,you get the same garbage reply time and time again, check this check that, has it occured to you CLOWNS at blizzard/Craptivision
that its actually this stupid PATCH, why Dont you just own up and stop making excuses for this patch of a failure,WE CANNOT ALL BE WRONG WAKE UP.
I have the same problem. Every 3-5 minutes I have a 5 secs dropout (freeze). But I think itās related to Samsung SSDs as I got these lags when I installed my two damn super mega poorly conceived M2 SSDs. Any idea what could be done? I already updated firmware with Samsung Magician.
Its this problem fixed? because I canāt play the game using DX11 or 12, it only works on DX11 Legacy. I removed all addons, reinstalled the game, and it didnāt help. The problem is that there is audio lag which causes the game to freezfor a few seconds and finally completely. I have all the drivers and the operating system up-to-date.
Itās June 21 now and i just decided to start playing tbc after i quit retail a year ago or something.

dont get your hopes up,the blizzard technical support is horrible or not existant at the moment in blizzard,i opened up a ticket 3 times regarding game horrible performance and constant stutters when opening the map,inside torghast when the power is ready etc in a very good pc since 9.1 hit, all they did was ignore me and close my topics here in the forum.AND the problem still exists since the start on 9.1 patch!
i would not wait for nothing right now from blizzard activision.
i remeber when blizzard had live support and fixed all my problems during 1 conversation in said live support.with proper professionals,not this blues that walk around forum giving āsuggestionsā.
