[Last Minute Loyalist RP] The Fourth War ⚔

The Warchief has promised us PEACE and PLENTY! We need only stay loyal to Her cause and true to our Horde! We need only to win this FINAL war!

Look at them, crawling like vermin between the feet of their Alliance masters…

Burn the documents. We must tie up any loose ends.

Right now, there are only two forces in this world that matter - one bent on harming our world…

… and one that will protect her.

With the patch dropping tomorrow and having 0 timegating (and the siege ending instantly after Saurfang dies) I guess there are only so many hours until Orgrimmar changes hands

To this end some loyalist RP reflecting the kind of stuff we see in the loyalist side of the war campaign will be happening if anyone is interested in joining in on either side

I guess I’d also like to see people’s crazy IC stories about the run-up to the siege, the various events that happen and of course the big mak’gora

Let’s go gamers

Leave your horses at the Orgrimmar gate. We will call it “The Horsegate”.

Stuck in Nagrand, Bat’grek was oblivious to the events of Orgrimmar. He continues the hunt for foul rebels in his old home.

Please good Blizzard, do not let the false Queen take over.

The Zandalari, who have just joined the Horde to get revenge on the Alliance, are obviously not happy with them teaming up with the Alliance. As we speak, they are planning a counter-siege to besiege the troops besieging Orgrimmar.

Dis worst grog day ever! Domp just wanna drink some free grog and den da baddies and blue team show up and crash da party!

Time for N’toko to get extra salty that the war is over but not do anything and just complain from safety of her temple.

Womp sees the assembling siege from the Brewfest grounds

“Me drinkin’ too much” He says.

He glances back to his mug, before passing out. That’s gonna be one mother of a hangover.

Theobrand watched over Tarren Mill from Alterac’s Foothills, with nought but the howling wind to keep him company at this late hour. From far in the distance a cry went up from the trees, no doubt a deer meeting its end at the jaws of some ravenous predator. Still he waited. A command would come, certainly, sooner or later.

Posters are swiftly plastered across the warrior city, with some frantically being sent further afield in an attempt to rally those loyal to the Banshee Queen.

ATTENTION! ATTENTION! ATTENTION! ATTENTION!

The day has finally come to pass that the Alliance and their patsies - the traitors that would see us all thrown into chains or worse - have come to challenge the indeftigable might of the Horde.

Like a pack of mongrels baying in the name of their master, the Boy-King WRYNN, they flood into Durotar - yet they are few and their resolve will falter as quickly as it came. Take heart! We will break the Alliance and the rebellion they have fostered here and now!

I issue now in the name of our people the following edicts:

  • All forces TRUE to the HORDE that are able are to immediately report to the capital.

  • Citizens of Orgrimmar that are sound of mind and able of body are expected to participate in the forming of a defensive militia.

  • Anyone seen undermining the safety of the city or otherwise serving the interests of our enemy - be it through acts or propaganda will be harshly dealt with in the only appropriate manner.

  • The gates of Orgrimmar are to be IMMEDIATELY sealed. Do not try to leave the city until the danger has passed unless you are acting under military orders. Any suspicious activity must be reported to the grunts.

True to the Warchief - True to the Horde

To make it more engaging tomorrow, the rebels could show up and we could have us a shouting match while the mak’gora goes down, just so we can get some RP out of this quickie. We could set up a time if you guys are up for it?

Urugar currently lies beaten and bloody in the jungles of Zandalar, after a fight with one who would previously be considered a rebel. They exchanged words before he was forced to throw himself from a bridge to avoid what he thought would be certain death. These words and the changes in the Horde, he is unaware of, may be enough to sway him into accepting certain people as his allies again. The alignment of The Razor Hill Raiders was always with the Horde and it’s Warchief, not necessarily Sylvanas. Plenty of the unit did not like her, but their loyalty to the Horde remained. If it were simple the Raiders would fall in line easily with those in the city of Orgrimmar, but the bad blood lingers on Urugar’s mind. Repairing old alliances will be difficult, but hopefully in the future, worth it - IF it can be done.

The voyage of Cog Captain Railcraft did not go as smoothly as intended. Receiving orders and changing course last minute for the warm sands of Durotar.
Intending on docking but instead becoming shipwrecked, the combined groups of the Assemblage of Uld and Dirge of Teldrassil now fight for survival, they now blockade themselves inside Tiragarde Keep with rations to survive and a few tricks up their sleeves.

cool little incentive if anyone is up for some roleplay tomorrow / this week. :cowboy_hat_face:

This is shaping up to be the biggest thing on AD yet.
Log on tomorrow soldiers… and watch history unfold.

Alryette sat on the steps of the Tail, as the young loyalists behind her drank so evenly. She looked about the Valley of Honour, as boys and girls poured their mugs full and high. They drank to each other, to good wars, to fond times and unity in their Horde.

She did not drink with them, even as she watched the Stygians enforce their brutalist laws. Even when the Loyalist jeering got too loud, she saw injustice. Injustive she could not quench this time. But did she want to? This is what she had wanted; something to fight for again.

Orgrimmar was more her home than Suramar. Her family was here. She’d protect them with her life if she had to. Her friends… Her friends were not. And that was that. Could she face them on the field? “No half measures,” she mumbled, tapping the sheath of her blade against the dusty road. “Either they run… Or they don’t.”

“I will not be coerced into selling my loyalties so easily.” He thought to himself. The elf’s belief in his own words was concrete.

The Emissary came to a halt upon the worn metal steps of the barracks, stood where he often stood, watching the bustling crowds from afar. Some revelled in their loyalty to the Dark Lady, eager to enforce her will, whilst others spat upon her name more willingly than ever; the rift that lingered within Orgrimmar’s walls had been torn wide open.

Elyrius was not so easily swayed by the fear that evoked such dissent and disorder. He knew where his loyalty stood - it was with Sylvanas, as it always had been ever since she had taken upon herself the mantle of Warchief. Unlike some of his kind, he had refused to forget the sacrifice that the Dark Lady had made for her people; for his people. It drove him to muse what truly evoked such a fierce hatred for the Alliance in his heart. It drove him to think of his people massacred in Dalaran, countless elven lives stolen at the hands of a mage that would no doubt be there to see his Warchief laid low. The elf’s featured soured. It was but one slight of many.

“True to the Warchief.” He uttered beneath his breath. “True to the Horde.”

Otumbo glared proudly at the two severed orc heads on pikes just outside the garrison in the Valley of Honor. His work tonight had been bloody, and the cleansing of traitors had to be both thorough and merciless. Yet he was determined not to let the Stone Guard down. These rebels had to be brought to heel, especially for their associations to those who’d taken the life of King Rastakhan.

Saw good activity in Orgrimmar and wrote a small thing too, though tried to avoid very direct spoilers for those who’d like to wait with the cinematics and cutscenes until they see them in-game: https://www.argentarchives.org/node/231583

Trooper Swann knelt by his meat wagon, working hard to get it prepared for war, if he could sweat he would do so. The Alliance were coming…the Traitors were coming. He remembered the last siege against the City. He thought about holding it, speaking to the Shadow. He did not know if they could hold it but by The Dark Lady he would do as she commanded until death.

Sir Gaunt mused on what he had learned. There were those willing to fight the Elf, that perhaps Sylvanas could be defeated finally, freedom for the Forsaken. The old Knight hefted up his hammer and set off from Gilneas through a death gate, making tracks to where he heard those who saught freedom might be found…
