Last Part of Halondrus Boss room doesnt load properly

As the title suggests, im having some weird issue where the last part of halondrus loads in awkwardly, as in, the room doesn’t load in at all until im just about to enter the room then it completely loads in but around the top of my screen the area doesnt load in until i look at it directly?

like i said its kinda weird and only started happening yesterday during a normal run, I went back on lfr today and the issue still persisted, yet i did a HC reclear on wednesday and the issue wasnt there at all.

Anyone else having similar issues or know of a fix?

Edit: its only the last part of halondrus that does this btw, ive gone everywhere around slands and azeroth and it all looks just fine

I have a 2060Ti, AMD Ryzen 9 3950X & 32GB of RAM, drivers are all up to date

The whole fight is heavily bugged since this weekend.
It’s worst in the last bossroom.
The walls that disappear are sometimes seethrough, the area behind those walls is sometimes loaded sometimes it is not - or at least not showing - even if it was previously loaded. Sometimes black boxes appear in front of the walls covering that whole area.
The knockback circles in room 2 are buggy and a lot of times either the inner or outer circle won’t show - you can fix this with camera adjustments.
In the third room, you cant see the floor under halondrus when your camera is too low.
you cannot see bombs that you dropped
you can sometimes see the beams spawning but you cant see them moving around the room.

This is not a graphics cards issue or a settings issue. Everyone in our raid had it without exception. I tried adjusting graphics and nothing changed. Also I feel like this fight has heavy dps drops from what it usually has. I almost never reached the fps I usually have on this fight.

I made a video so you can enjoy the madness that is actually happening. Please refrain from commenting my gameplay. I know you all play better than me. Also note that I use the inky black potion so everything is pretty dark. The potion itself though does not cause any of those bugs, other people had the same bugs without the potion.

Its a bug with the boss, think blizzard is looking into it

Personally i cheesed it as non-tank by going heart of the wild as dudu healer, works well enough ( Heroic )

What addon is that to make it night time? looks amazing ;o

As a 2 raids per week guild it feels amazing to have to cancel a raid night because you cannot see the mechanics that killed you when you hit 10% on the boss.
Especially after having tons of accidental pulls because of yet another bug causing hunters to randomly attack.

We had the same issues with Halondrus mythic yesterday. Had to stop progress because of this. invisible bombs sometimes in the intermission and always in p3, invisible beams always in p3. Happens for everyone in the group.

btw also Hunters auto-attacking and pre-pulling the boss…

This is exactly what im experiencing.

I got through to support and they just suggested to reset UI interface, Scan Repair, reinstall drivers which i did but to no success.

They then suggested to report it via the bug report tool.

Like someone mentioned it only seems to start this weekend as i did a HC clear on Wednesday and there wasnt an issue, so maybe a hotfix of sorts messed up the boss room? kinda tedious to keep going back to Halondrus to try to see if the fixes have resolved it. even more so now that my guilds Mythic proging Halondrus but im yet to experience anything that affects me playing it.

I have a couple guild mates who also have some bugs with halondrus such as invisible beams etc.

But i guess the best thing to do now is to report the bug and hope for a fix

I am surprised this isnt a bigger thread. I just want to confirm we also ran into the issue, and our guild had to stop raiding because of it. I hope more people reported this in game.

Our progression in the raid depends on if this is fixed in the next ID - so I’d be happy to hear something about the fix in the next 2 days.

It seems it started on friday.

WoWHead have done a post on this issue now, so hopewfully a fix is incoming (fingers crossed)

Just tried on heroic this morning to see if these issues persist before Mythic progression.

Hello, I’m back! We identified the issue with Planetcracker Beam and deployed a hotfix that should address the issue. We’re still looking into the other reports and will provide any updates as we receive them.

According to 2 forum members in US the bug is still active, can someone confirm this or confirm that the fix is working?

Thanks for the update. Trying to plan for a raid tonight - will any additional hotfixes be posted when they are found or will no more be posted for today?

Mythic now in this moment: p3 invisible bombs …
crackers are visible.
some people have issues with an invisible ground.

We’ve recently deployed a hotfix that should fix the visual issue with Volatile Charges disappearing.

We’re still investigating the other reported visual issues with the encounter and will update this thread as we receive further information.

We pulled him yesterday after the beam fix and before the bomb fix.
The beams were working.
The bombs were not.
I still experienced all the other things in my video.

  • The circles from the knockback sometimes not showing up properly, camera adjustment fixes that reliably
  • The walls that disappear in walking phase where still invisible in certain camera angles
  • Black boxes still appeared in both walking phases, mostly right in front of the walls but in the second walking phase also to the lefthand side
  • The floor was still gone.
  • FPS still lower than usual
