Is there a solution for the layering issue in meantime?
The layering is a hell. You fly over icecrown if I’m lucky I only need to fly back and put the follow back on a couple of times on an alt or tell friends to put follow back on, however there’s unlucky too and they also each switch layers. Planning on doing a quest with a friend? Nope Chuck Testa, layer switch as soon as you click the teleport orb at Silvermoon to Undercity. Ready for a dungeon, yeah don’t think so, 3 people at summon stone, none of em on the same layer. Mage make a portal at the end of the dungeon / quest, clicks it and portal disappears for the rest of the group as mage entered another layer when it arrived in Dalaran. That’s 4 players now stuck there with HS on cd. Some layers are even that bugged they wouldn’t show any of the valentine event npcs or decoration.
Joy, get to log off for 30 min till it’s hopefully fixed. And no, portals, warlock summons, walking in a dungeon, clicking the silvermoon orb again often doesn’t work. I think there’s a limited amount you can layer switch and just going through the world you already use em all up especially now with valentine event.
Layer switch 1: Dalaran to Orgri → Delivery
Layer switch 2: Orgri to TB → Delivery
Layer switch 3: TB to SM → Delivery
Layer switch 4: SM orb to UC → Delivery
Layer switch 5: UC to Dalaran
Layer switch 6: Dalaran to mobs below for crown quest
Layer switch 7: Crown quest back to Dalaran
Layer switch 8: Dala to orgri to Deliver crown quest
God forbid you go and do the SFK event afterwards with the same group or a daily heroic…
