Concidering, when you link items/or when have your name shown - it would be your client language showing. Chinese and Russian both would look like voodoo for most player.
I think it’s something about character names and servers too why certain languages might be are restricted.
Just play games in english and look up words you do not know. In my country we luckily do not got dubbed tv shows/games/movies uness they are for little kids. But pretty much anyone who played games often never even had to pay attention to english during school
I will have to add my Serbian Language to the list there it equally sounds like voodo magic to people because I tried learning foreigners my language they can’t pronounce it also they can’t for the life of them understand Cyrillic writing.Take this Serbian rock group for example of how difficult it sounds like
I never found much problem on learning Cyrillic. I struggled way more with the female and male words Russian had. That was kind of weird concept in a language for me then.
Yea I get you totally because its the same for people with hearing all Slavic languages not just Russian and my Serbian Language our type of language is unique. For example what do you think this word means: Здраво.
Yes it means Hello you are learning awesome.I can sing that too it’s my family of languages hehehe. Also they spell her name Джаина we call her Џејна or if you want butchered spelling then it’s Дџеина
For some reason in Russian evils sound more evil and nice people sound more warm. And Russian draenei sound cooler. And Lich King sounded as if he is about to drain my soul out. They really know their craft in speech.
My 1st language has none even close to east slavic languages or west germanic languages as ,my language comes form uralic branch.
I’ve levelled a character in French and German realms too. Just to experience game in those languages. And like wise with other - single player games I feel that language and voice actors can change a lot in games feel and vibe. Even when you do not understand each word. Each actor - even when just a voice does give part of themselves into their characters and so you see and feel world differently just because.
And here’s French jaina too !
Those clips, those quests - do it in different languages and its like… always offering different angles.
I had not heard this one actually. I would probably play Chinese wow too for the sake of it, but I would get stuck on character creation screen ! And I would ruin my social credit on 1st Goldshire raid.
last time I run past they spoke about dropping pants… I did not stick around to hear more. I still think they should have used party chat, but i guess it is a turn on for some to know that others can read their naughty RP talk.
