Are legendaries actually special? When looking back at 2006 i can think of 1 or 2 guys who either had sulfuras or thunderfury. It was an achievement getting them and it felt special having them.
Nowadays my server is packed with them, literally dozens. It does not feel special at all.
What went wrong here?
Tripple the population on the servers and almost everybody is raiding in Classic, in Vanilla the majority didn’t raid. So more drops and people who have it.
Exactly and people are just very good at the game now, discord, faster internet, good coordonation.
People know what they need and they gathered the materials before they got for example the bindings or the Eye drop.
Nothing is wrong. The drop rate is the same. People know more and play differently on realms that are 5 times bigger and have somehting like 20+ times more raiders compared to Vanilla.
I agree, the feeling in obtaining epics and even legendaries, is not the same. Sulfuras in Vanilla, was something to “admire”. Now I see it in every AV or even AB.
Why they nerfed bosses? It was not intuitive.
There simply are more raiders around compared to the population of the server.
That doesn’t make getting those legendary items any easier, tho. My guild has been raiding MC since October and all we’ve seen is Garr’s bindings and Eye of Sulfuras.
Well it was explained why and you see it all the time because the BG’s are cross realm.
