It’s because Blizz can’t/doesn’t scale us properly in power versus the old expacs.
If they did, it wouldn’t be needed.
You dont tell that you did the job. If you did the achievment when it was relevant everyone can see you did the job.
If you did emerald nightmare today everyone can see you didnt do it in legion.
this would kill transmogfarming as no one would have the time to do it.
Balancing it would also be a complete nightmare. Lets concentrate on balancint actual current tiers and classes.
Btw you dont oneshot anything in mythic legion raids.
You know, gearing farming up to be viable, farming to stay viable - to be able to do relevant content, and then do the actual relevant content, is almost a fulltime job on 1 char and most people play atleast 2 or more chars they keep relevant.
No one rightminded with a normal life would invest time in doing the same thing for a 1% chance of getting some transmog.
Transmog farming would be dead. No one would do the old raids, like, ever.

You can always take off your gear and start auto attacking if you feel like you are killing them too fast.

I was worried about this. I’ve been farming a lot of Mythic ToS on my Shaman lately, and a few pieces off the set. I hope it isn’t going to be impossible to do it. The bosses already have like 13m+ HP

They better fix the scaling for when you’re level 60, or i don’t want SL to Release as my End-game is by collecting Transmogs!

but having 1 raid viable whole 6 months is also boring
We should be able to blast through legion with 60, same as we were able to with WoD at 120.

You can also create a group of level appropriate people for the Raid. Gather a bunch of 110’s to raid Night Hold once more!

Exactly, sadly that is not possible on the Beta.
But i have a feeling that let’s say SL releases and it’s not fixed, then maybe like a month later they have scaled it correctly.
Or they can just have the PTR scaling which is better than Retail’s Scaling.
I didn’t lose a single % on Skorpyron on the PTR.
May lose like 5% in Retail.

On my dh on live i dont lose sh it, i farm for first satyr spaulders. Have no problem with skorpyron, skip all the next bosses then cenarius and xavius.
Xavius on mythic killed me while i was around 460 itemlevel some times tho if i didnt really blast all i had with potions and drums + all cds etc. But now with full gushing and 477 its really trivial.
Gonna be exciting to see how it goes without corruptions next week.
I also farm argus rares for resources for relinquished spaulders as thos shoulder have a slim chance of dropping from there.
Imagine having to organize a whole raid scaled down to 110 to farm those things weekly in addition to current endgame.
But i guess, some people are just masochists.

I actually got my Xavius shoulder from relinquished gear, i feel like it is actually more likely to get it from there than from Xavius himself.
No need. Grab a gang of 60s, just bring one level 50, and eat popcorn while he solos it!

Mythic Xavius is no joke, his LFR - Normal & HC was merely a setback for his true strenght in Mythic
Not only without Corruption, but with New/Old abilities!.
How many boxes did you save and how many did you open before they dropped? I have like 8 of them now since i found out they drop from there.

Yeah so i think soloing raids will be easier at Pre-patch i know it sounds wierd, but i honestly think it’ll be easier to solo stuff compare to now xD
I can’t recall, it was during Legion, I dedicated a DH only for that purpose. Farming… what was it? Argulite? Sargerite? Just to buy those tokens. I think i opened around 50 of them.

Tho farming them is pretty quick now. And weekly quests etc gives 300 extra , 300 extra for greater invasion points, killing rares, opening chests, world quests rewards them, and rep for army of light and argussian reach blasts to top daily almost, wich give a chest that usually have 100-200 of them.
If they dont drop from the raid im gonna save like 100 of them.
Read someone who got it on fifth box in legion ptr tho. and another who just got it on the 18th box.
It certainly feels like a better alternative than bonus-roll Tusk of Mannoroth farming.
