If they do they would have to redo CM for MoP and WoD ( i hope they do a remix) as that would only be fair to people that want them.
Myself i have 4 cm sets and the cm weapons and all tints of MT weapons so im not bothered what happens

I don’t see how they would need to redo it at all, if they relaunch in the whole expac in MoP Classic now, it’s gonna be the same game, same patch, same level of challenge.
but I do agree, they could redo new challenges to make it come back into the game, for sure, would be cool. I got MT myself, just hope more people get the chance on it
Apart from the fact of you sharing a plain text and claiming it was from a game master (which means nothing), it also does not state anything new.
You can find old posts from 2018 where they say almost the same thing:
www.bluetracker(.)gg/wow/topic/us-en/22030-please-reconsider-your-stance-on-retail-classic-reward-linking/
So yeah, I wouldn’t hold my breath either, since bringing in retail rewards earned through classic would be even less popular.
Exactly, and a whole different game than retail, with a different playerbase, and no link between the 2.
Well idnno how to upload pictures to here, but okey, take the link then, I found a way:
GM response
Well who knows, even the GM thinks it’s a good idea so
i hope not, but a recolor instead.
I don’t have all of them and I am completely fine them being locked away forever. It’s okay to stamp some value against some pixels.
100% correct without prejudice.
That argument is a nothing sandwich. None of the Mythic raids have been returned with the same difficulty as they were in their own patch. All Mythic raid should be cyxled out and be unattainable by your logic.
Or plot twist they decide to skip WoD on Classic progression and move straight to Legion.
I hope so too.
Not for the same reason as you, but yes… I hope so.
Did you read the last post without all the context before hand?
That was the justification about why pvp removes sets after each season, while mythic raid rewards are kept in the game. It was not an argument about why it’s right or wrong, just an observation on why it happened, and how blizzard used that across the years.
Blizzard will not remove one piece of content for their player base (collection farmers) for no real benefit. Mythic raiders will do the raid with a mythic mount or not (as shown in tiers without mounts), so they have no reason to remove those mounts.
Can use the same argument about PvP mounts and transmog sets then
well ofc they will - this will be the major thing which will make poeple play legion remix
Yes and that would be correct IF there was a collectors community that did pvp.
My argument was not for why should stay as they are, just why they are how they are.
In an alternative universe, blizzard kept the original ranks in pvp, linked them in arena, and made a pvp farm so that people could farm old glad mounts and elite sets.
I am not arguing if that universe is worse or better, just that this is not how things went.
The very point of this thread, is asking if we think that removed rewards (in this case MT appearances) would return in legion remix. Not if we think they SHOULD return.
I have.
There’s no justification. It is the exact same thing, but treated differently.
Both are high-level, difficult gameplay that rewards a low % of playerbase with appearances and mounts, but while PvP rewards remain exclusive at the end of the season, mythic raiding rewards can still be collected.
They are the same and should be treated the same.
They have. They removed elite Gladiator sets, weapons and mounts.
And water is wet.
Well then you are not arguing anything. The current state is wrong, that’s all.
It’s Blizzard’s choice and nobody can change that. But don’t try to justify it in Blizzard’s stead, because it simply cannot be justified.
Yeah because one of them is tied to a raid that after the raid is done is left the same, and a new raid comes out. The content itself is there just way easier, that is the reason that in the next expansion they change the drop chance, to REPURPOSE the content for the collectors.
For pvp, after the season is over, there is NO CONTENT to repurpose and nothing to farm. It is a new season all together with new rewards.
If you had read what I wrote then why are you implying that I agree with what they are doing and trying to strawman me?
My point is not that it is the correct or best thing to do, just the reasons that they managed to reach this state. If your point is that they should make evergreen rewards, this is another discussion.
Well, it’s pretty easy to justify, mainly because you are trying to justify it with your logic, while blizzard just understands profits.
From blizzard’s PoV they do not need to justify sh*t. They will bring nothing back, and IF enough people will complain, they will either:
In any scenario, they only care about the money they will make.
Right. I forgot about that. Please put here in writing, that none of the formally obtainable PvP appearances are available anymore. Mark of Honor is an item consumables only.
Absolutely nothing can be brought from any previous PvP vendor anymore. This will put me at ease, go ahead.
The reason behind remix content is to revisit old expansions in a different setting yet the expansion is what it is and you can’t do a remix without the full content of the expansion as it was back in the day. By remodelling or recolouring old expansion sets, mounts etc is a big BS because instead of doing that, they could bring back the original versions which what people want and don’t tell me about the Classic version because to me that is not the version I played back in the day, that’s just a gimmick.
Classic is vanilla for a modern audience.
I agree with all you say apart from that, you do need to farm the gear again.
11.1.5 coming maybe
