How come a Billion Dollar Company, can’t even give us a release date, legit I don’t care if it’s 1 week before Shadowlands or not, but people wanna know the date, farming gold for the AH mount, or getting the last stuff that u cannot get, this is not cause I wanna whine it’s actually frustrating to not know the release date, the PVP finals are done, no? and we’ve got all the Afterlives, why can’t we just get a release date, and if they don’t have one, I saw on the Wowhead that they have made PTR “Test” again, then why give us Shadowlands next month if it’s not Ready, pluss in my opinion, the Pre-Patch event doesn’t really look like something you’ve put much work into, not to mention the nerf you did with the invasion, people ask me, why do I want pre-patch? mainly because I am tired of sitting here waiting, checking Wowhead every hour for a darn date, cause I am still trying to farm wow’s ugliest mount and I am getting closer, but I also don’t wanna get slapped in the fact tomorrow with the release date just around the corner, I don’t get why they haven’t given us a date, I expected more from this Company that I’ve paid years for, the other pre-patches did last for weeks before the actual launch, it’s just frustrating, Sorry had to get it out of my chest, but doesn’t stop me from being annoyed, have a lovely day.
They gave you a release date, prepatch will come before that.

Well some people are farming the mount, I guess the…currpted dragon? etc and when the pre-patch is out u cannot get them no more, I think? not sure tbf.
More like 50, there’s a new pre patch thread every 10 minutes. Like it’ll help anything.
Yeah those people had 9 months for that. 1 week plus or minus won’t really change anything.
do you mean the brutosaur and/or void dragon? people had plenty of time for those. 
My guess is because they hope it’s ready by every Tuesday we pass but still too buggy. The latest will be a week before release I suppose? I’m past expecting it at this point.

Pluss even if I had 5 mill, I’ve been close not long ago, I spend it on Transmog and other stuff, I wouldn’t wanna buy an AH mount, I’ve got Main towns for that, OH! or those bots standing with the Brutosaur mounts next to a mailbox all over the place.
Because this isnt a normal situation for anyone, as someone who works for a vast company the current situation has made things more difficult and once promiced deadlines have been pushed because of the changes that have had to be made.
It sucks i get that i am getting anxious for the pre patch to but i understand why we have no date and why it has come quite late (or will do)
Yeah i only have so much sympathy for those who want those mounts but couldn’t bring themselves to do it within the 9 months for one and over 2 years for the other
I could be remembering wrong but I don’t think they’ve given much notice of a prepatch happening in the past. If we work on the theory it’s a two week event then that’s going to be the latest time it’s possible for them to run prepatch. Worst case scenario date wise.

I remember I think it was Punyelf who posted that they bought couple of WoW Tokens a bit panicking they won’t made it.
There probably wouldn’t be need for that if they had a date.

So 1 token = 200k gold.
If you need to buy several ones, let’s say 3 that’s equal 600k gold.
If you can get 600k gold in a week (which you assume because they bought the token cuz of the fear of prepatch going live 1 week earlier) then you could easily get the mount earlier as well.
Remember you had 2 years to get it, and you knew the removal for 1 years now.
One year for 5 milion gold.
Some people didn’t hear the news.
Some people weren’t playing when the news came up.
Some people may be missing 300k-600k and they can’t make it till next reset and what happens if next reset is the prepatch?
We don’t know the date so people are buying WoW Tokens and panicking about it.
Also 5 milion gold is a lot of gold.
That’s the reason not everyone should get it. If you can’t farm that much, nor can you afford to spend 500 EUR for a mount, then though luck. It’s like Cutting Edge, or Keystone Master or Phenomenal Cosmic Power, you need to have the required skill to do it AND invest serious time in it.
It’s quite unlikely they will release the prepatch without prior announcement at least 1 week before.
If you’re missing that much and you can make it in 1 week, then obvious solution is to start earlier next time. If you can make 500k a week, then you need just 10 weeks and you’re done. You had more than a hundred weeks.
This prepatch is underwhelming, so I’m personally not fussed about it coming late.
