I do find mechagnome lacking in pants department, it makes some sets look absolutely ridiculous. I understand that model is probably hard to make pants but some sort of leg and hip coverings would be welcome.
Just give them more Gnome options, like normal arms and legs. I think that would fix everything.
They should’ve just given Gnomes mecha options instead of introducing an entire “new” race that is so limited in options. I do expect them to some day more options to Mechagnomes to make them pretty much the same as regular ones save for a few details here and there. (Much like Velf / Belf)
Then again it’s not just the Mechagnomes this applies to really.

Pants are only for lesser races. The supreme mechagon Engineering does not need to be covered

Give MGs the option to have one normal gnomish arm and one normal gnomish leg, that way they can still make full use of all transmog slots.

Yes, they should have the option to have normal legs if someone so wants to barber shop to it. Then all of those transmogs could work.
They are Mechagnomes, not Gnomes, if you want to wear pants, don’t be a Mechagnome.

Why not just make it similar to bony forsaken ? Just leave the cog joints and fingers exposed and let us cover the rest ! That way the weirdos that like to look at spinning cogs will still have that and we normal people that want our mechagnomes with pants will finally play them :P. Its a win/win !

Pants would only slow them down, they’d serve no purpose as they don’t need to worry about keeping their legs warm. Times change.
