I ve nothing with the goblin theme
It wasnt necessary to introduce the mario kart feature
Seriously? Drift, car tuning, nitro and cars? In world of warcraft?
Just another april’s fool joke from blizzard again.
The undead pony prophecy is near.

We have trains, zeppelins, bikes, ships and other types of transport vehicles. Why is a car out of place?
Blizzard can’t win with players honestly. When they don’t innovate they get criticised, when they come up with something new and cool they get criticised.
Because its medieval fantastic game
Did you see cars in lotr, warhammer, etc?
No, because it doesnt fit.
Where in medieval times have you seen a motorcycle?
Sorry that’s just the elf player mentality. There’s more to wow than lord of the rings fantasy.
You re arguing for cars with bikes, sails ships and zeppelin
Lol
I don’t like goblins and I do not like their aesthetic , but having a patch that is all about goblins doesn’t really bother me. I mean they are WoW race as well and it’s good to have the something different in the spotlight for once. That being said I am not a fan of the focus we have had on technology (BfA- mechs and super tanks, SL - existance was created by a 3D printer and everyone is a robot, TWW - robot dwarves with mechs and now Goblins).
Isn’t it a modern type of vehicle? What’s wrong with my argument?
You arguing for a 20-21 century vehicule by using bike a 17-18 century vehicule.
With your mentality, wow is gonna be like that in 2 years :
Overreacting much, aren’t we?
1800- train
1885 - motorcycle
1886 - car
1900 - zeppelin
None of this is medieval times.
They are all modern vehicles.
And Goblins are an advanced society, focused primarily on engineering. It fits WoW perfectly.
Yes.
I don’t want to drive a car with game mechanics and all that, but the art direction is fine and on-point for an established race like Goblins.
The city part of Undermine looks great and fitting. However those ‘corrupted’ cavern bits (see pictures below) are not my thing; just how I dislike the look of Azj-Kahet. I don’t like that sort of vibe.
I hate this.
But Undermine looks great imo.
Whereas I love this and Azj’kahet!
I am fine with a goblin patch existing, I am just not interested and that’s okay. More time to do other bits.
You said bike
Yeah for goblins, the 2% playerbase
I dont want to see this as a main/mandatory feature for everyone
With intellectual honesty, do you want to see hundreds of cars in orgrimmar/stormwind streets? In world of warcraft ?
if khadgar can ride a wheelchair then i expect goblin cars in-game, and not just for the goblin starter zone.
I won’t be using the car either if I can help it, just as I don’t really use skyriding. It is completely fitting for Goblins but just a feature I am 100% uninterested in and really hope it isn’t mandatory for any quests etc.
I said motorcycle in a previous post.
I don’t want to see Ferraris and the likes but the Undermine cars looks perfectly on par with Goblin trikes, their racial mount and also with the motorcycle from Wrath.
They all have the same feel and design.
Like :
" If burning legion can be transported in spaceship like in legion expansion. I want to travel in a millenium falcon or Tie fighter"
now thats alittle extreme. the Goblins always had a car if you played their starter zone, it´s lore. now having a huge spaceship which needs a crew to get it to move is whole different topic.
I feel the same.
I’m so worried that Blizzard is going to force this on us, because that’s what they’ve historically done with new features.
I really don’t want anything to do with that D.R.I.V.E. stuff.
I am not a Goblin.
It’s where WoW once again runs into the problem of being an RPG whilst not giving a crap about it.
I mean, the story leading us all to Goblin town and dealing with the locals, uncovering the greater conspiracy, and taking it to the villains, that’s fine.
It can be argued whether it’s ideal for a game that revolves so much around its worldbuilding that it centers all its story and gameplay around a single zone for half a year at a time, but that’s how it is.
Nevertheless, where it gets a bit stupid is that for some reason my Void Elf has to get all into motorsports and engines and drifting and so forth. Like, what? That’s absolutely not how I perceive my character’s identity – and I don’t even roleplay!
In the old day Blizzard were much better at establishing each race as belonging to its own territorial zones and using its own racial mounts and having its own language and culture and so forth.
Now we’re all being funneled through the same game experience regardless of what race we’re playing. And some of those game experiences just stick out like a sore thumb for certain races, like playing a Forsaken Shadowpriest in Hallowfall. It feels stupid. Like driving a race car as a Void Elf will.
Take my money! I would play a Shadowrun WoW.
