Now that we know some stuff about the Rune system in SoD, let’s have some fun! What ideas, feasible or otherwise, do you all have for Runes? They don’t need to be balanced, just what you’d consider fun for your class 
For Druid, some of my concepts would be:
- Barkshield: Useable in Bear/ Dire Bear Form. Envelops the Druids body in bark. Has 10 charges. While Barkshield is active, all physical damage taken is reduced by 15%. Damage from critical melee and ranged attacks, as well as crushing blows, is reduced by 30%. Each melee or ranged attack received consumes 1 charge. Using the ability applies Weakened Soul on the Druid. Costs 10 Rage.
- Wisp Shield: Useable in all forms (except Travel/ Aquatic). Summons 3 Wisps to protect the Druid. Each time the Druid takes damage from a spell, a Wisp absorbs 70% of the damage taken, exploding and burning mana equal to 35% of the absorbed spells mana cost to all enemies 5 yards around the Druid. If the spell deals damage over time, it is removed upon the explosion. Curses, Poisons and Diseases are not affected by Wisp Shield. Using the ability applies Weakened Soul on the Druid. Costs 15 Rage/ 20 Energy/ 10% base Mana.
- Cunning Shapeshifter: Retain your bonus health and armor for 3 seconds when leaving Bear/ Dire Bear Form, or your attack power and attack speed for 3 seconds when leaving Cat Form. This effect can only occur once every 15 seconds.
- Tiger’s Frenzy: Your Tigers Fury now lasts 10 seconds and affects all party members within 30 yards. It now has a 20 second cooldown.
- True Moonkin: You can cast healing spells while in Moonkin form. The spells restore Mana instead of Health when cast from this form, but have 15 seconds cooldown each.
- Eyes of Ysera: While a target is afflicted by Moonfire, all Nature damage it receives is converted to Arcane damage, and when afflicted by Sunfire, all Arcane Damage received is converted to Nature damage (this would be to deal with immunities).
That’s all I can come up with for now. Again, this thread is just for fun, not meant to be taken as serious suggestions! Do you all have any ideas, crazy or otherwise?
