Although I prefer that the Horde and Alliance remain separate factions since Iām old school Warcraft. But if it happens they decide to make both factions join as one then indeed it need to have a different name and also that they say āFor Azerothā.
However I also like 10.0 to be that we return to a new Azeroth, going back to the roots of Warcraft, Savage and Gothic Azeroth. The Armors and weapons are based of the themes of Warcraft 2 and 3 like the stuff we see in exile reach. New and updated areas. Some dungeons and raids have now become new leveling zones or some dungeons becomes raid and is much larger than before. Also when we return to azeroth there is no need for champions for the time being so the champions are on āLeaveā for the time being to become adventures again, to explore azeroth again. Citizens/people need help with āProblemsā in the world left in the wake of war. As alliance have been at war with the horde or legion and what not. The nobles and citizens of the alliance had to rely on mercenaries to take care of problems with bandits, rowdy savage orcs etc etc.
And also there has been growing concerns within the alliance and horde. Some members of the alliance have lost faith in the alliance and has left the alliance to start their own small factions. Same for the horde members. And also some that just did not accept that there is now peace between horde and alliance and have become a hostile faction for both horde and alliance. Some villages and towns have build walls around them and shut them self from the world. Same for the horde. Old enemies and new enemies have risen up from the shadows like scarlet crusade, twilight hammer etc. And in stormtalon peaks ahve been taken over by the arakkoa and saberons. In south barrens the overgrown has expanded and been taken over by the Botani. Some areas have been taken over by the scrouge now that the Lich king is no more the scourge have been divided to smaller factions with new leaders. The Vrykul have been coming by longboats and are attacking in both Kalimdor and Eastern kingdoms looking for places to plunder riches.
The alliance players help the Worgen to reclaim Gilneas and after claming it phases/becomes a faction city for the aliiance and the outside becomes leveling areas. Helping the local worgens. In darkshore the alliance players help the night elves with rebuilding a home and you get quests to keep out hostile NPC or reclaim old ruins etc.
The Forsaken tries to reclaim lordaeron back as scourge trying to take over the keep/castle. Once the forsaken retaken lordaeron the oversite becomes a faction city. With Calia Menethil help they are able to become more like lordaeron once were. And the Keep and Tirisfal glades becomes once again a gothic knght kingdom theme. The void elves builds up a keep/fort in Telogrus rift and have several outpost in azeroth, helping the alliance.
The forsaken can get customizations of backstraight and more meat on their body to almost look like the Stormwind humans and the male forsaken can have beards and human āLivingā eyes and skin (But have a tint of grey in the skin so it looks like they are decomposing, freshly killed forsaken) so they almost look like Stormwind humans but still undead, still forsaken. For Nightbonre, well that customizations video that came up on wowhead says it all for the nightborne. Kultirans to have Drust themed customazations with glowing drust eyes and glowing drust runes. And also a more body like rexxar/Barbarian from diablo 3 since kultirans are based from barbarian from D3.

Brann Bronzebeard wants to discover more about the old Ironforge and inside the old ironforge Brann quickly finds out that the old Ironforge holds a dark secret and we encounter creatures there that has not been seen for several 1000 years. And the Old Ironforge should have a dark atmosphere so you need a light source going down in the depths of old ironforge.
In westfall the sentinel hill is slowly being rebuild after the attack from Newly form Defias Brotherhood. A noble from Stormwind hired a mercenary band to drive out the Defias bandits and retook westfall from the bandits. Moonbrook have been rebuild to a working villiage again and the dead mines is in production again, mining iron and other minerals. But the Nobleās Mercenary band have stumble upon something in the mines that they canāt handle and need the help of the adventures.
A Noble has taken interest of exileās reach to find new materials and sent an expedition there that never reported back. So Alliance and Horde players are sent back there to discover the Island is much bigger than was previously thought.
Then we can have Archaeology expanded where we go out in to Azeroth/Outland/Dreanor etc looking for clues to ancient armors and weapons that are broken and we take them to a certain blacksmith for each faction. Like ancient Night elven armor and weapons that is 10000 years old or more from ancient heroes or common soldier and take that to a Night elf smith or for the horde a Nightborne smith in Suramar and the coloration will be based on the race faction.
For the Blood/Void elves is ancient High elf armor and weapons and coloration will be based on blood elves color or void elves. For humans it be ancient Human armor and weapons, which will be Vrykul looking armor and weapons for Stormwind humans and for Kultirans, Vrykul/Drust theme barbarian armor etc etc.
