Without that kind of attitude there will be no Alliance you will be playing Horde only faction but that’s what you want to happen isn’t it?.
What I want is that WarCraft does not turn into LoveCraft because that is teenagers naive dream because if it does turn into that, it is not “World” anymore. I think games should be educative a little bit and not an encouragement to live in a delusion.
I play both Horde and Alliance but I favor the Horde.
Okay, I am not insane. I don’t want World of Hordecraft either and I was just stating that I do not like (even tho I used word hate) Vulperans on Horde side. It’s just silly to me. Merchants as warriors “Watch your step, you might accidentally step over a Vulperan and kill it”.
Some people are sadly and are pushing their agenda so my apologies for thinking you such individual also those people are super opposed to the idea of factions helping each other at least until the factions get sorted out.
Faction loyalty is cringe, just saying.
Also is being a sheep and leaving a faction for the better one instead of trying to save your own.
Blind loyalty is very much a sheep thing.
The possibilities may be endless but this is a bad idea. Because once this is done, it can’t be undone and I’m pretty sure that some people on both sides won’t be too happy about it.
So is switching factions cause it’s the cool new thing.
Like a drug dealer offering the next best thing.
I don’t think it’s time to consider what a few will think about it, either they take serious risks with potential high rewards like enabling cross faction play or the game will keep losing players.
They have been following the same script for expansions for quite a while and it haven’t bear fruit.
Few? How would you know if there are few or many?
You really think people switch because they think it’s cool or trendy?
Get informed man, at least try to understand the situation, try to think why people are willing to pay to switch to a faction they don’t like just so they can play the game and understand how this is not an acceptable state of affairs.
None of us two have the data, but, just look around the constant threads about this that keep popping up, look at how many guilds keep changing to Horde to have better recruitment possibilities, look at the data.
How many? You make it sound like there’s nobody left on the Alliance side, which is fart from the truth. And not to mention that your solution isn’t to fix balance, it’s to bust the faction cause of the nonsense you have been spewing about faction pride being cringe or that factions are an outdated concept? Give me a break. Factions are part of this game’s identity, if you people forget that, Blizzard won’t.
crossfaction in dungeons would make lfr and lfd even worse than now though, just think about it, some ally messes up, horde merc, flames his heart out, and the same if a horde messes up, it will only make even more problems than it is now.
Alliance already are complaining about how merc mode in pvp works, where some horde players just joins to troll, or if it goes bad they scream about how bad alliance is
lfr and lfd is already full of trolls and annoying people, whit merc mode it would become unplayable after a while.
full merge where both alliance and horde is totaly dissolved is the only way to go, but it has to be done in a way that makes sence, and not like thrall and anduin touching eachother saying you my hubby and then they make one big faction.
something bad has to happen on azeroth, like a totaly destuction of both orgimar and stormwind, what makes it so there is no option left for horde and alliance than to merg, otherwise we just have a lol fest on our hands.
state of alliance is pretty much shown in the numbers of alliance guild in on wowprogess also, top 100 guilds there 8 are alliance, rest horde top 200 31 guilds are alliance rest are horde, this says pretty much how the faction balance is now. top 500, arround 92 or so guilds are alliance lol.
I think they will do everything they can to avoid merging the factions, it seems a merc mode for PvE is their first port of call if things don’t improve.
I’m not keen on a faction merge either myself. However it make get to a stage where the Alliance becomes totally unplayable and they’ll have to consider it. We can see a huge disparity in end game.
You play Alliance, running dungeons in the rating of 15s and Heroic Raiding? By your response it sounds to me you don’t, you don’t have a grasp at the situation. And the level i play is far from hardcore, it gets worse the harder the core gets. Four 15 and above keys at this Friday night was what i found in LFD, in the whole american servers. Prime time.
Almost no one cares about faction pride anymore, most decide their faction for gameplay or aesthetic reasons.
Allowing Jon the Human to clear Spires of Ascencion with Josh the Troll it’s not going to make loyal Alliance players throw a fit and quit the game from distaste.
The only ‘argument’ faction restriction defenders have, “it’s part of the game identity” yeah yeah, whatever. We haven’t had multiple instances of factions working together against common enemies, haven’t had that ever.
Good for them, keep praising the company and it’s terrible decisions in the game, keep respecting their decisions to keep outdated systems that have been damaging the game for a long time, insisting on not taking risks and slowly losing the playerbase, on board the sinking ship.
probably but I think that will backfire big time, there is to many die hard alliance and horde fans, an when those meet in a dungeon it is gona become a living hell for anyone near buy, as I said in an other post, lfd and lfr is gona become totaly unplayable if that happens.
though best way would be to let horde and alliance join crossfaction guilds or communities, and at same time, drop the Mythic raid restrictions, I think that could work realy well, you aint one faction but 2 and you can join in any pve situation you want as long as you have wm off, and in wm on you have to group up before you enter wm on for it to work, otherwise you can kill eachother.
It’s become the trend to blame things on mercing rather than a team just not performing together well.
Again you claim to know what everyone cares about. You have no idea what you are talking about because you really don’t have any idea what John the Human and Josh the troll will do. You can’t assure me that the removal of factions won’t end up in disaster because you simply don’t know. So again, give me a break.
And why should anyone care about your arguments when you wave away any argument that is not in agreement with your little world (of Warcraft) peace dream?
And I didn’t praise Blizzard. I simply stated a fact. But yeah, I think merging factions is a very bad idea, unless they have no choice and honestly, from where I’m standing it looks like there is a choice.
