I kinda meaned for faction its more alliance than alliance ever was. Could actually swap flag colours too and for next possible allied race for horde i think night fae pixies would fit perfectly there

By other words you are for a faction merge - the slowest possible way. Where do you think Alliance players go when the faction is dead?
It’s really not hard to just add a Friendly / Hostile toggle and Peace Community guilds that both Alliance and Horde can join. If some people like those above hate the Alliance just keep yourselves on Hostile you won’t be able to talk to Alliance scum or ever have to group up. You can even enable PVP for all I care so we can whoop your sorry bumnum. And guilds who don’t want to be friendly to opposing faction and accept them in their ranks can simply refrain from converting to a Peace Community type guild. Meanwhile let those of us who want to PLAY TOGETHER to be toggled as Friendly, allowing us to group and chat and raid and whatever we want. Guilds open to both factions can convert to Peace Communities it will be like a regular guild but will just comprise of both Hordies and Allies.

well if you look on how shadowlands seems to turn out, Sylvanas dead or in jail, Anduin turning bad, Turalyon prolly goes renegade atleast people seem to think so, it seems more and more that we might get a faction merg, becuse if that happens, where Anduin stays evil, there is literaly none to lead the alliance, exept Genn but I think he is gona die soon, what again meens, Alliance have none to realy claim the throne then.
Horde already have none who can take the throne or atleast none who would make sence, so a faction merg whit a council seems to be the way to go, this could even happen if Anduin again turns to the good side though, becuse he would be up for it.
the only real problem on alliance side is Genn for the moment, but he realy do not have much to say, and he would not ever join Turalyon on a light crusade if that is to come.
Tyrande might not be to happy about it, but she aint stopid eighter and she do knows it was not all of the horde who did what they did, heck she event after Sylvanas instead of destroying the horde so she did not blame all of the horde.
personaly I would like to se the faction dispanded though, where we all are in a big group, and new factions we could join, same as in SL, could be

Why would anyone want factions to be merged! That’s a terrible idea! 
If they merge us I am going to make my own faction with blackjack and hookers.
It doesn’t have to be a merger, we just need x-realm communities, LFD, and instanced PvE groups.
Open world, nothing needs to change; opposing town guards still attack on sight, you get PvP flagged for walking into an enemy city, etc.
But out in the wilds, players should get a choice about who they team up with. If an orc, a vulpera, and a few humans want to walk into a dungeon; let them.
Please. For the sake of the game. It literally lives or dies based on whether this gets done, we might as well do it sooner rather than later.

…and this attitude is why Alliance players are infiltrating the Horde, increasing in numbers each day. You want to keep the current faction wall and imbalance, you get Alliance in the Horde.

Good luck when BG queues are literally infinite because absolutely nobody plays Alliance any more.
If you ever want to run a battleground, or use WM to kill enemy players, you actually do want x-faction grouping, because that is what will prevent 100% of players ending up on Horde. You personally don’t have to use it, but you need to not deny it to other players.
Admittedly if you don’t care about either and just want more PvE, then the issue doesn’t affect you at all and it may even be in your favour if all Alliance faction change over the next 2 years. Although this does have exactly the same effect as x-faction grouping, with the one difference that Blizzard get a lot more money for doing naff all.
So basically, unless you like the idea of paying Blizz for failing to fix a problem they created, you should like x-faction groups. It makes no difference to you in any other situation.

What faction merge? There’s barely any alliance left
Im getting really tired of this “But world of WARcraft without a war is just world of craft” mentality. the name of the game has no goddam rule saying we must be at war. Its just sementics at this point. Alliance and horde are not at war, we are fighting NPCS rn. So there is your goddam “war” you so crave.
If you’re tired you should take a nap.
The title having no relation to the inside of the game makes no sense and not all wars are faction wars, idk how you reached that conclusion from my post. I’m saying you would hurt the story in the long run to give up on the horde/alliance dynamic which does allow you to switch between more grounded fantasy between your cosmic horror stuff and have already offered a solution for the gameplay aspect.
Unless you actually think removing the factions will benefit the story in the long run?

People playing Alliance are Warcraft players too and their situation isn’t a good one.
Something needs to be done.
Increasing the number of players is out of the question so a Faction merge would be the less of evils, for everyone, in my opinion.
