Let's make it an interview #3

<Insert 'the Lich Queen dies' anwser here.>
Okay, now someone can give another, different anwser. You're welcome.

Skip me, of course. Just trying to prevent the inevitable.
Question: Is peace between the Horde and Alliance possible? If so, how would it happen?

It's possible, but hardly probable. We see two vast armies, with all the attendant industry behind them and entire societies geared to military victory - they need constant conflict in order to justify their own existence. Neither will dissolve its military might independently of the other, and any external force capable of compelling them to do so will instead cause them to unite - as your own histories indicate.

The only hope for peace on Azeroth is the dissolution of the power blocs, and carefully managed redistribution of resources to reduce causes for future conflict: sadly, history also tells us that as soon as we come close to that state, some cosmic horror or another will surface and demand a worldwide military response. That's the real tragedy of this world: the likes of the Old Gods don't need sinister corrupting magic to destroy us. They merely need to exist as a potential threat, justifying the existence of the means by which we'll destroy ourselves. Permanent readiness for warfare - and thus permanent warfare - is the only guarantee of survival in a hostile universe.

This doesn't, of course, mean that the power dynamic currently at work in the world is optimal. I can see several possible realignments, along more apparent and beneficial lines, that would alter the scale of possible conflicts but should still allow for an interconnected global response when called for - but that's beyond the scope of this response.

Question: If you were leader of your people, what would it take to make you break away from your faction?
"Wouldn't need much. I care about my people, not Horde. I'd leave once the Warchief demanded any forces from me to fight their battles."

Question: Which of Azeroth races is the greatest and why Sin'dorei?
"The Sin'dorei ofcourse. Why? well it is obvious"

Question: Where do you see yourself twenty years from now?
''As part of a victorious and grand crusade that removes the Sin'dorei from the Eastern Kingdoms. Permanently.''

Question: ''Which flavour of ice cream is your favourite, and why?''
"I've always loved the Caramel flavored ice cream. I always get it when traveling down south, but this new pistachio flavour holds me like a spell. I always have this neighbour who won't stop talking about how Vanilla is the best one, telling how it's classic taste will always be the best. But I like him to not boast about it while he's enjoying the other flavoured ice cream..."

Question: What's the deal with Airship peanuts?
"Hmm... I prefer the taste of despair. Like that gilnean cheese I tasted some nights ago? Strawberry is also acceptable."

Question:
If you could go back in time to wherever you wished, but only for a day, to when would you go? Can be a period of your own life or a historical event as well.

EDIT:
Sniped... here's IC anwser to above question as well:
"I know naught of what you speak. Although I heard it tastes like a domesticated bird the humans keep for their eggs and prized meat. Actually, I heard everything tastes like this... 'chicken'."
"Back about fifty years to stab that Medivh guy in the throat. Or if it's a 'look but don't touch' situation, just back to dear, old Quel'thalas in its heyday. I miss when we didn't have the Dead Scar."

Question:
What would you say is your greatest weakness?
“Alcohol.”

Question:
Most weird experience?
"There was a lady... she had green fire instead of eyes and horns growing out of her temples. Her skin looked quite sickly but I don't think she was ill. She walked up to me and began tugging on my antlers. Of course, people doing that is still fairly common, what made it very weird is that I decided to imitate the gesture. I don't know if she liked it but I'm quite sure she did not expect it. It was quite... a unique experience."

Question: What is the most stupid thing you've ever done?
"Hoooh my. This is going to be a long list my friend...
Joining the Zin'azshari guard! Attempting to steal from a wardrobe... not refusing to give up my magic... repeatedly sneaking back into Elven lands after my exile... Stealing the egg! Stealing the egg was a big one at the time...
Taking a demon into myself's actually fairly low on the list."

Question: What makes you, you?
I am my scars.

Question:
If you could end the greatest evil in this world, but you had to accept a fate worse than death to accomplish this, would you?
"I'm afraid I'm not that... Ah, how to say that, devoted to the common good. And let's be honest, death is already a bad fate."

Question:
What would you say to a younger you, if you could give only one advice?
"Don't join the army. You won't see the world; you will do awful things to innocent people and be electrocuted for a total ingrate."

Question:
What gets you through the day? What helps you cope when all else has let you down?
"Truth be told, sometimes I've no idea." the strange troll looks down on his feet for a moment, then raises his head, smiling through his tusks. "Other times I say to myself, I live for what I do. The stories I tell. If a couple comes to my hut and asks me to tell a sad romance, I do my best to immerse them in the tale, help them forget their own, hard life. If an adventurer comes to my hut and asks for a parody, something to lighten up his mood, I do my best to make him laugh, relax... make him forget about his hard life. We all need respite from this war torn world. If I can make a single person happy with my stories, my day is full. My life is fulfilled." the storyteller pauses, the smile on his face becoming sad and humorless. "So to anwser your question in shorter words, you keep me going. All of you who take the time to listen to my ramblings. You who I can help forget your troubles, make your sadness go away. You who keep me alive and sane."

Question: Is there anyone waiting for you back home? Family, close friends? A spouse and children maybe?
"I have been at home for some time, the Horde has seen fit to ask me to aid in training our warriors after the defeat of the legion. But to answer, my mate and my two children await me."

Question: Has the loyalty to either your faction or people ever been tested? If so, when and how did you overcome this test of faith?
Well, not I the way of killing one o' yer one who be a traitor.
But I did had to leave my family an' beautiful Khaz Modan. For I was to be deployed in stranglethorn.
It wasn't an easy thing fer me to do.

Question: If ye could have the chance to stop the Alliance - Horde conflict but had to kill yer faction's leader. But you'll go down in history as a traitor. Would you do it?
"Let peace be damned! I ain't slayin' me own Queen! I may have fallen low since I was crippled, but no low is low enough for me ta betray da Horde."

Question:

Which accomplishment in your life or trait you possess that you are the most proud of?
"...Finding who I am... And satisfaction in life even if my fate put be born on a land where I don't fit in, and to become a monster too. I refused all of it successfully and the gratification it has brought to me is grand. I am now Darnassian, dress differently and speak differently than Gilneans, I've found where I belong. After years of being a monster and a freak you don't take that for granted."

Question:
...Which place in the world do you find the most beautiful, - and why?
"I've been to may places and dimensions as a shaman seen many different cultures, faced many creatures. To say which one is more outstanding is difficult."
Erah would then take a moment to think, leaving an awkward atmosphere between the interviewer and himself.
"Ah I've thought about it I have to say skywall. you have to see it for yourself its beautiful you feel at ease. there's just something about it that makes all earthly worries fade.......like the wind."

Question: What do you most yearn for?
