Dwarf on Alliance side, Troll on Horde side. Overall Dwarf, honorable mention Night Elf.

Male night elves are very ignored over all sadly )= i almost never see them in the army, or captains, the only important male night elves i can find are just druids, i wish there were some male night elves in the army called the huntsmans, they were saber riders, and were armed with a bow, a spear and a dagger,they specialized in scouting the wilds and hunt down enemies in the woods. And their bases could be the Hunter’s hall wich already existed in wc3 and has an awesome architecture!

And as well as the Illidari, apparently they are in the alliance? And all of them are Night elves? And i didn’t see a single one of them in Darkshore fighting the horde, if Blizzard rebuilds darkshore and cleans lor’danel and Auberdine i hope they set up a Illidari camp in one of the caves in the east side of Darkshore or in the Master’s Glaive, the Hunter’s Hall could be either in Bashal’aran, Shatterspear Vale (now Hunter’s Vale) or Auberdine.

Gotta go with Dwarf. It’s the very first Hunter you saw in WoW. Namely in the cinematic.

Dwarf I mean you see in the cinematic first time you load the game , the dwarf hunter is also on the vanilla box art.

The most famous hunters in wow the majority of them are hunters.

I have level 50-60 hunters of every race (including 2 pandaren and all the Mag’har Orc tribes!) and its too hard to say.
There is a reason why hunters were available to every race almost from the beginning!

TBH the only ones that are abit of a stretch for me are mecha/gnomes, forsaken and nightborne.

i’d say dwarf but lets be real barely anyone plays them :stuck_out_tongue: even back in vanilia 99.9 % of the hunters was night elf and most likely female too heck my first hunter back then was a female night elf too i was going to make another orc but was like nah

Well if you go with the classical “bow and arrow” type of hunter then its always been elfs. :smiley:

Musketwise, yeah its dwarfs.

Trolls are actually a more ancient race than elves ^^ Night Elves are actually descendants from trolls.

Anyway, based on WC3 I would say:

Night elf with a bow.
Dwarf with a gun.
Troll with a 2h weapon… so survival… Although melee survival is quite a new addition to the game.

Elven Ranger is a character archetype with decades to its name. That being said, the dwarves did come in swinging with the cinematic from original WoW.

But te Dwarven Hunter with his gun and bear was one of the foundation of WoW

Alliance:

  1. Dwarf
  2. Night elf
  3. Void elf

Horde:

  1. Troll
  2. Blood elf
  3. Vulpera (so you can have two Alpacas called Dolly and Dot)

Pandaren Hunters are cool and rare but two problems. 1. Mail is the worst and ugly armor and on a pandaren its ten times worse than it already is.
2. They cant tame every colored cloud Serpent. i complained about this in the past but no change.

why yes…we are cool! I dont mind the mail being dire though as it makes it more challenging to come up with decent mogs!
Also there are much worse races to mog IMO like mecha/gnomes, goblins and vulpera. Id rather be squeezing my tubby Pandaren self into a mog then struggling to see it on a teeny tiny body!
