Let's talk about Demon Hunters. Again

Demon Hunters should Soar as well.
So far we never had any race that comes with the wings by default and even after they become demon hunters, elves do not have anywhere to learn how to properly use their wings. Gliding comes naturally to anything with wings.

Not right now, but in 1st or 2nd patch of the expansion, Illidari should be taken under drachtyrs wings (fictionaly) and they could be guided on how to use them properly. In return elves can teach drachtyr how to use their visage form correctly. How to adapt to this new age after their slumber and nowdays manners - just so they blend in the cities better; after all, looks barely matter when you don’t know how to speak or how to act correctly.

My 2nd thought, give more races option to be demon hunters. (insert Pikachu meme here)
Highmountain Tauren lead by Huln, hunted demons long ago. Some of the races fought demons before.
Don’t let them be Illidari - of course. Do not give them title and make their starting zone same as death knight allied races - nonexistent. They pledge their loyalty to king/warchief and we move on with out lives. Citizens run away and/or hide when they 1st approach into the cities (original dk style, but instead of fruit being thrown, they are afraid).

It fits perfectly into blizzards plan to adapt all classes to all races, we just need it sooner. People are out of patience and us casual edge lords (demon hunters) will not be forced to play pretty elves. Let me be orc, or broken draenei (they COULD be Illidari since they worked with Ilidan, don’t @me). Let me be huge tauren with fel blood running through me, I want to consume demons!! + most of the races already HAVE some sort of legion connected skin in game. You can see fel tauren in Highmountain (northern part), red/broken draenei, hum- well humans don’t really need any change, they are easy to corrupt anyway… But you get my point. Hopefully.

Please tell me your opinion on this matter and excuse any potential spelling mistakes.

Excatly

Illidan had a soar during the boss fight

And yes, More races as demon hunters make sense, since the lore doesn’t matter and the developers always disrespect the lore

Where is my Nightborne demon hunter, while Felborne are bound to fel and they engage the melee fight!

Where is the worgen demon hunter and having more tattoos!

And the true demon hunters are bound to the fel magic and fight in melee!

I am fine with Demon Hunters not being able to soar. For now. But it would be logical move forward, as races work together throughout expansion.

Watch them do a content patch for dragonflight for demon hunter at some point lol

If dh could soar then evoker shall have double jump

Dh soar makes sense, but why would drachtyr double jump?
We should get to fly regularly as flying mounts as well as soar, something like worgen passive

Imho everyone should have doublejump of some form .

Dracthyr can because of wings, i get that. But even in visage form they can, they just swoosh jump and some windy stuff comes from their feet. Now tell me how is this any different that mage doing the same magic ? Or shaman using wind elemnts for that.

Also, its not a lot of fun when i come from DH alt to main and i realize how much i loose just because of double jumps

It is extremely insulting to even suggest someone like a Demon Hunter would need guidance from a lizard in how to correctly use their wings.

Just let them fly, they always should have been able to, it’s merely just laziness on Blizzard’s behalf that they are not already able to.

I don’t like the ugly ears. but other skin is not wrong…

Edge lords (myself included) really need grounding. People who think DH are those godly figures need a chill pill. Illidari are far from perfect and even though Illidan himself IS overpowered. The rest of the Demon Hunters are not on his level. As someone has stated earlier, nelf has got hooves from all the demon blood/fel, he is in different league - ultimate edge lord stuff…

The vast majority of Demon Hunters either die from injury in the harsh training, or suicide from the mental scars. The ones you see are the ones that made it through, the elite of the elite.

Just because they are not on Illidan’s level does not mean they are some mere foot soldiers that need coaching from Disney lizards in how to use their own wings. That is just beyond absurd.

There is a limit on what you can learn. Magic, combat stuff etc… you were born into the world of magic and you were meant to learn at least basic combat, your elders prepared you for whats out there. No one said that you will be getting additional limbs and there is no training to help you out to control them.
Wings came as a perk with demon blood yes, but they are not full on feature because you were never made to have one, there is no reason whatsoever for elves to know by default how to control wings.
Like, yeah, i got wings now, watch me fly… there is no reason for things to work that way. All you know about your wings and how to use them is what you learned from Illidan, and that dude was focused on combat/magic, flying wasn’t his primary concern. He taught you how to glide be cause it is useful in almost any situation (getting thrown, demon kicking you off a cliff and that sort of stuff)

But anyway, it is not for us to decide, writers can take both side, yours and mine in this, and at the end it will be however they want.

Why shouldn’t they be able to give a quick flap of their wings to propel them upwards further?
