You are having imaginary scenarios in you head.

no, these are things people ahve been lobbying for since 2019*. on a wide enough timescale its quite likely that blizzard eventually adds all of these to accommodate whiners.

I believe he is being sarcastic, maybe i’m wrong.

Edit: Correction, he is trolling…

Brother 90% of people were no changes crew in 2019, me included. Its time to up QoL this time aroundy and really large player base wants it.

The game needs QoL changes or it will die very fast due to some annoying things Vanilla had. TBC did it right, they fixed the meme specs, they added the summoning stones and added the guild bank.

Those QoL change were done by original devs though…

people ask only for dual spec option for a high price, or make it cheaper to respec, and the #nochanges folks take it as “lets turn this game into retail”
lmao, relax

No changes please. Play retail if you want to play retail.

What about “Play Era if you want to play classic-almost-pure.”?

No TBC Era and no NoGDKP Era, unfortunately.

Well, that boat has sailed, apparently new Classic will be released with massive game-breaking changes, it seems, so no point to argue about it anymore.

Really? Game-breaking changes? What would they be?

And abouit TBC-Era - I am pretty sure that they will give the TBC-Era after it’s going to finish. Because many many people want it.

They announced that there will be no debuff limit and double specialization.

Well, make be “game breaking” is too harsh. More like “game changing”.

Right. My personal feeling is that the world is going on, so why not WoW? I like the changes they announced and that we aren’t left with only the odds of “vanilla”.

If someone dislikes doublespec that much he doesn’t need to take it. Will also save him … 1k? gold.

Since a good year I am out of the raiding- and instance-stuff, but I remember that debuff limit to be just a nuisance, nothing else.

We can go quite far. Most things that topic starter enumerated are just nuissances. At some point those nuissances make gameplay.

Single spec, for example, adds a value to someone who levels up as a healer. He’s spending more time in the world, but provides superior support for dungeon group. You gotta choose. And some people actually love to “sacrifice themselves” in that manner. May be someone will feel the need to help that healer to farm in open world, so that’s social constructs growing on top of game restriction.

See. I for one love healing, but only in BGs from 10-60. I have “my own” spec and I don’t like the smite thing that much. For the open world I prefer shadow. As disc it’s very ok to level on a PvE server, but not so on a PvP server. There I want to be able to not just survive and run off but also get my kill if possible.

And no, I don’t want to rely on other people helping me farm stuff or sth. Because that’s what I also like, farming while doing quests or for the major chill just farming. An then I want to do this whenever I want and not when a good soul will waste his time for me when I only wanna do what I like.

dual spec only serves to trivialize content even further and remove the challenge of healing in a damage spec or the process of planning a cool multi purpose spec. It also makes every character the same. For example, imagine all those priests and paladins who level in prot or holy and get a reputation for being good healers/tanks in PUGs. Now everyone will be the same spec as situation demands.
