Just recently all i see in LFG is wts boost and wtb boost. Been trying for days to get a group for any instance but there are non… There are no players to even quest with or do the hard/elite quests.
Now this creates a bad gap experience wise because leveling is balanced around doing quests and running dungeons. There arent enough quests to just go solo questing in vanilla… i dont even have quests to level… i just finished the quests in tanaris and feralas and there is no other place to quest at my level… I really feel burned out because i dont have options and cant even level…
Some trolls would say just go buy boosts and level… What about new players, that dont have 2000g for boosts??
It is perfectly fine on servers which were never locked. Issue is that Blizzard locked many servers for too long some servers are still locked.
Real problem are locked servers. The real problem is playerbase is too dumb to be even aware that servers are locked and thats whats causing problems with finding groups.
i leveled a rogue 2 weeks ago. And if i cant find any group or ppl for an instance, i was simply doing this:
For example Sunken Temple: Open “who” panel. Write down “52”. And start asking ppl “hey, wanna join sunken temple?” or specifically “hey, wanna join sunken temple as tank/healer?” if u cant find enough ppl at level 52, try 51. than 50, than 49. %95 works. i could make every instance in this way, if i cant find ppl on LFG. Just copy paste your message, and send everyone.
I did ST today on my Hunter on locked server. Took 30 minutes to find 4 other people. People who say “I cant find group its all boosts” are all crybabies.
Sad thing is Blizzard will have level boost for them next month.
there are some people who are leveling 3rd alt and they want it fast, they want to buy boost not to do some low level dung and waste time with noobs. what about them ? ur selfish cuz u think game should change just bcs u dont have gold lmao
I played original WoW in Winter 2004 and levelled a hunter. Then I levelled a Paladin. I clearly remember grinding ogres in Tanaris, maybe around level 50, and grinding ogres in Arathi (cannot remember level). Meaning you spend an hour simply killing ogres in a circular fashion. Ogres were great because they did not patrol and had very little chance of pulling more than one.
It’s interesting though that people were so excited for Classic for the meaningful leveling experience like in vanilla watching your character getting strong and stronger. And now, all you see in chat is “LF boost XXX”.
While we had boosts in vanilla, it was nowhere close to what we have now.
First, LFG or LookingForGroup? Because more people tend to use the official one, but when someone says “LFG” I’m never sure what they mean or even if they know LFG is a user-created channel.
Second, try looking for people in relevant areas. If for WC, ask in Ashenvale or Stonetalon; Scarlet Monastery in Alterac, and so on.
Some dungeons take patience (Deadmines for Horde, WC or SFK for Alliance) but in medium-size realms and with an open mind (you can do the first dungeons with 5 DPS if someone can off-heal and/or CC a bit) it should be feasible.

You can’t expect people to play like in 2005.
They found a way to level multiple chars. Let them do it. I know it ruins the RP of the game …but it is what it is.
Leveling on Earthshaker is pretty cool, because I can find groups to all dungeons. Also outside peak hours. I thought that was lost months ago, but there is hope!
I meant LFG as in the channel. The character im lvling as is 43. I finished quests everywhere i can except for the high level ones. Any way im thinking to grind elites or something
