Leveling nerfed AGAIN in 8.0

I hope they restrain balancing so that it at least feels like 7.3.5 then.
Because when 7.3.5 hit there were a bunch of whining over that fix, which was embarrasing as the gameplay of leveling pre 7.3.5 was B R O K E N !
And I suspect the same whiners have been spamming this thread for days.

I do of course agree that 1-shot buggy abilities should be fixed. I am just afraid of it looking anything like pre-7.3.5
little faster now kill mobs but we need more exp rewards..
Even after the last hotfix, level 60 - 80 feels extremely slow and sluggish.

you need make report bug. and tell your opinion about 60-80 leveling. be honest.. it is already problem since january 2018 when they start scaling leveling.

60-80 is never my favorite leveling. ALWAYS tooo slow.
No the problem is the way it was before 7.3.5!

Indeed, Pandaria dungeons seem too easy; apart from a bug where Scarlet Fanatics were one shotting people I had no wipes because everything was hitting like a wet noodle. I've done a Cataclysm dungeon as well and it was equally easy.

Comparing this with Wotlk dungeons which felt like proper dungeons(difficulty wise) I'd say they were undertuned or the last damage nerf stick hit too hard.

All they have done is give a blanket nerf to all mobs from 15-100, I doubt that would have taken very long to implement


This was clearly a last resort, otherwise they would have done it on day one.

What are you smoking? Right now, the leveling is nothing like legion in any way.
In my aopinion you shoud end old content in 48h played time, because if it will be longer will be boring. If you think like guy who are working you will have 4h per day so it is around 12 days to get 100 levels, not bad if it is your first character because in first month you can earn max level and make raid or two.
Tnx for this hotfix but this is not what we look here, topic name is ''Leveling nerfed AGAIN in 8.0'' if some1 forgot. We still split end dung xp ith party and got only of 1/5 prev. xp. We still dont get bonus xp for bonus boss, in 20-60 dung,..... All of that we have after 7.3.5 patch. Can some1 fix that ?

We identified an issue with the dungeon completion bonus which meant that players were only receiving 1/5th of the EXP they should be getting (due to the way EXP works in a group). I've been informed that this issue should now be resolved, so you should be receiving a large amount of EXP upon completing a dungeon now. If this isn't the case please do let me know.


We dont get more exp.. Can you fix this? :) Thank you nerfed mobs hp and damage.. But exp few...
I just returned from a break since WoD. After just a few hours of play I have already gained 4 levels. Its not like its tedious or slow. Its quite fine or even abit too fast from what I remember.

in WoD u could go 0-60 in 5 hrs lol, it takes 15 hrs to do 0-45 now.

If you are doing Legion content, it's in good spot atm. It's everything before Legion that is badly broken, boring and slow.
Hello, they are fixing mobs HP and Damage, perfect. There were dungeons were, with the actual habilities, was impossible to survive.

But, what happen with the experience? People are complaining about the increment of xp needed to level up, and It's the trully reason why we feel all too slow. Of course the bugs with mobs didn't helped, but the real problem is the xp needed to get out the old content, content that a lot of us have done a lot of time.

Blizzard, we don't want a .kill comand.
We want don't waste time doing the olds quest again and again....

Last thing, on cataclysm I think, you reduced the needed xp to level up to 60. Why have you increase it again???

Yep Legion content is providing perfect expierence and at a good pace. It's always been really good.

The lvl 1-60 bracket has abilities 1 shorting ppl.

It has no exp given for bonus bosses. And the experience is divided amongst all 5 players. So where as in 7.3.5 if u got 10k exp per boss u r only getting 2k now and not bonus completion exp.

Furthermore the lvl 61-80 bracket is slow because mobs are sponging ur damage slowing down the pace of combat by an average of 5 mins compared to before.

Draenor leveling is a still easy along with Legion being pretty damn perfect. But if only 20 levels at the end are easy the 80 lvls slog is just not reasonable.

In Silithus 60 level mobs still have hp like elites and I deal them less dmg than to any mob on Legion. So even if they change hp(what I don't see) I still msut use this same amout of abilities to kill them. I need cast full rotation to kill 110 mob on Argus and I need cast full rotation to kill 60 level mob in Silithus.

And you think this is fixed?
I must be doing something wrong.

Been leveling a few chars a week now.
Not yet seen anything remotly hard. Or any mobs that was of any issue.

Ive come to the conclusion, either ppl are not using all of their abilities, or they are just horrible bad players.
I guess it's something but it doesn't help much. Hope they can get it fixed sometime soon.

I know... people won't like it but: isn't it time to talk about compensation? I've seen my wife (and some others) staying away a week from playing because levelling has been all over the place (we were 'lucky' to have a few alts in the 60-80 bracket).

I'm willing to bet this whole patch have left a sour taste that won't go away before the launch. It will only make that BFA launch more sensitive than it should have when problems arise.
The game have still been working fine, save leveling hiccups. It was something quite else when garrisons was borked and disrupted everything. No, this doesnt warrant compensation imho.
