LF Arena coach and 1400-1600 boost for WoW gold (obviously). Struggling to gear up due to high item lvls in low brackets and this is my last option or quit.
So you make a post about boosters ruining the game then u make a post asking for someone to boost you?

He is forced to do it, people are incentivized by Blizzard to pay boosters, because actual pvp system is a totally trash.

i made this character recently and with 200 item level i could get away from that range. yeah there are a lot of boosters or people who have gear from RBG but i’ve never felt that games were unwinnable.
not to justify boosting or the gear disparity in any way, i don’t like this
OP maybe tell us more about the situation so you can get help instead of spending gold: what is your class, item level, what composition do you play, would be a good start

It can be worse, in destiny2 cheaters charge money to boost, that pvp scene is totally broken.

In wow the vast majority of boosters boost for RL cash as well.
Talk to any booster in LFG. He will tell you to add him on discord. On discord, he will tell you with the prices in euros are.

Yeah ok, i mean its legit filled with aimbotters and wallhackers. Its unplayable.
Taking on a pro team or a cheating team, though the success rate might be the same, the latter feels way worse

Nothing feels better than blue geared warlock flying around map hipfire headshotting everyone with 100% hs accuracy with random blue sniper from y1.
Now that you think about it, we have it good here in wow. We have boosters and wintraders but atleast we don’t have hackers.

people don’t want to learn or to improve, they want the gear directly in the mailbox, they want the rating they think they deserve without any effort, while the current iteration of the system isn’t the real issue and the power creep for each item level point is, it is totally doable to climb up slowly from the <1400 to 1800 bracket, I did it with a DK, with a resto druid, and I’m working on it with a warrior and an elemental, you have to be patient and good enough, it’s definitely doable.

Oh look, another “git gud” clown. The system is broken, overgeared people at ratings they shouldn’t even be at, and boosters ruining brackets.
better be a “git gud” clown than a “feed me cause im bad” clown tbh but to each their own, at least I enjoy my classes and the game and I don’t feed boosters money neither rating points but maybe that’s a stretch you can’t understand

i didn’t get “git gud” vibes from his posts unless i missed it. however the vibe i got from his posts is that he said it is possible though it requires effort (potentially a lot of effort) to do it, which it seems à priori that the OP is unwilling to deal with. caving in and buying a boost will only reinforce this market and make it worse i think
and yes he wrote coaching, but, let’s be honest, boosting and coaching is kind of synonymous in the service they provide. they play with you with high tier gear on lower tiers and go out of their way to hypercarry games, maybe give you a few pointers on what to do in the process or try to use you for setup.
in other games, this is never considered coaching! in other games, coaching is more like a high tier player sitting with you on discord to teach you some principles, then go over some replays of your matches with you and then sit in the stream as you play and he can tell you what to do and why. nothing wrong with that, this is pretty much the same process in which i learn the piano with a professor 
the system is broken partially because people are entitled and think they’re too good for the rating they belong, how you can’t grasp this is f-ing beyond me, it’s literally always the same bs along every pvp game. low tier players thinking they’re too good and higher tier players admitting they’re still doing mistakes and improving constantly which is the #1 reason why they’re in the higher tiers.
obviously the system needs to be fixed because 1. the power creep is too high, 2. rbgs are basically free rating until 2500 so it gives you really inapt players at 1800-2100 in rbgs being stuck as turbo at 1300 in 3s, but maybe they would be less boosters if people would acknowledge they’re bad at the game and the reason they’re 1400 in 500 games is because they belong at 1400 (or for pve players, the reason they need the extra gear to kill boss X is because they can’t properly deal dmg or follow the encounter).
I said it again, it’s definitely doable to climb from 1200 to 1400 then 1400 to 1600 and such. You won’t get +200 in an evening, it takes some time and practice, yes you lose against higher geared opponents that basically throw but you also win because you are playing better. yes the gear is important but there’s more games than you think that are driven by how (and what) you play.
