LF1M Feral

Please, let it end. Either make it raidwide or give paladins sanctity aura a chance to trigger an extra attack for all group members. Feral recruitment is starting to become unbearable. More and more of them are quitting the game, and the few that remain are either hella bad, poorly maintained alts or locked into guild raid schedules. It’s lame.

or u spend 1 more minut in the raid without the xtra chance to trigger an attack… big deal

hahahah dude they will try literally anything to sneak a major and unwarranted buff through to paladin.

no bro, you’re not getting personal WF.
you got reckoning.
get a feral druid if you want WF and once again, let me remind you that you should thank your lucky stars you have access to WF at all.

by all rights and laws of this physical realm you should not have WF as alliance at all.

the trade they originally did (WF for kings) was the worst trade deal in history of trade deals (and that’s igoring the fact you got tremor, str and agi totem too).
only once decoy and alpha was given to shaman did it become an even remotely fair trade.

we can certainly revert that deal if you aren’t happy. im sure if enough of you cry about it blizzard will cater like they always do.

Fwiw the trade for kings in p1 for wf was the best trade they could’ve made for it given what people had access to. Paladins have access to tremor, str and agi totem, but are pigeon holed into 1 set of runes for basically every spec, its not really a freedom to choose without severely gimping yourself elsewhere. You also forget you benefited from WF being given to druids in p1 too. Both factions did.

If you don’t think raid wide kings was a good trade idk what to say lol.

Decoy totem persisting through its totems life span is the most fried thing too, kill totem shaman still has undispellable freedom.

The argument for us getting WF now with everything horde is getting/has gotten is kinda irrelevant,
Fear ward coming, check. Weapon skill coming, check. Decoy totem, check. Kings buff, check. Salvation pretty much, check.

Meanwhile we got tremor totem that doesn’t get picked cause of conflicting slot, and horn of lordaeron which suffers the same problem and Windfury which if you play bear has the exact same problem.

Feral in general isn’t an overly rewarding spec to play, the game play is bland and you are effectively there for 4 other people to get buffed. I’m not saying giving ret WF is the right choice, but it would help fill the void we have on alliance with just not enough WF buffs to accommodate the playerbase.

Yes you remove some of the attractiveness of feral on alliance by doing this, but horde already has this with shamans being better overall dps and bring the same buff. You still bring the druid for mangle. Letting the average group fill their “Buff quota” slightly easier isn’t a bad thing.

I have a guild group so it doesn’t apply to me, But i get whispered daily asking if i want to go ST by people i have never spoken to before so the demand is actually high enough for ppl to /w every druid online.

For once this shouldn’t be an “Alliance is crying about this again, always crying about something yada yada” Can we not make suggestions that would actually help the game anymore without it being some faction related BS. If this was a horde problem i would be advocating the same thing.

Whether that is make Wildstrikes raid wide, Make feral druids more attractive to play for the average player so there are more of them in game, give WF to another class. Whatever the decision may be, some form of a change would help massively with the average group trying to fill for their buffs.

No.
FYI we have plenty of feral druids on horde despite having shamans.
playermade issue.

Parse is the reason to raid.

Who cares about clearing the boss or loot at this boss.

It’s all about doing the higher dmg

sure. Pala can have WF…
if shamans get bubble and a 5 second stun.

Sure, don’t see how that matters tho, considering how rarely you use either of them

so please WF for paladins

Nobody uses Tremor except Holy Paladins which are a rare breed and even then sometimes they’re better off using Excorcism. Also nobody uses Str/Agi buff either since it doesn’t stack with Might.

The real solution to the WF problem is they should have given it to Warriors as a new shout. No headache in recruiting ferals, pop the shout and maintain it to get extra attacks, simple solution considering it’s the class that depends on it the most to perform in both PVP and PVE.

We have plenty of druids on alliance side too, but not enough to make up for every raid that occurs.

Clearly player made issue.

Should’ve realized replying to you was a waste of time judging by your low effort posts elsewhere.

Well… you got the most unnecesary freedom-like ability, so i guess is paladin’s turn

You should be able to slow enemies or have mobility or a immunity to impairing effects. shaman got all of those. It’s the most unnecesary rune you shamans got, and the freedom effect still on if you kill the totem. Totally a mindless spell

So you basically want to put me out of a raid spot?

NO! Just NO.

My guild has 2 raid teams and 4 ferals, 3 with tank offspec, 1 with heal offspec. So prolly the one with the heal offspec will get to stay if you would get it your way, the 3 others can just scram.

You’re a rogue, if there’s 1 class that benefits big time from wild strikes then it’s you! You should be glad that there’s feral dpsers at all serving your parses!

Are you good bro?

In what world from that scenario did you manage to take away from that, that your ferals will be getting benched because of it? Unless you as feral are doing negative damage you wont lose your raid spot and you can always bring more than one, LoTP still has insane group value even if Wildstrikes is Raidwide.

Maybe offer the Ferals something like a guaranteed token, 1xSR more etc. If they are rare and you want them … give them something to make your raid more attractive.

Yeah see, I called this before phase 3 hit. Expected some love from Blizzard to feral cats…got nothing. Hence why we all quit!

So basically the fix is actually give feral cats some love.

Less and less Ferals are playing not because we’re WF bots but because the team has absolutely no idea how to balance us and we’ve had enough.

We can’t even use our primary DPS ability when out and about in the open world because it requires we be behind our target, so instead we get to press 1-2-1-1-1-1-1-1 when playing solo. Such fun, such riveting.

The final nail in the coffin for me was Skull Bash going on the same rune slot as Mangle, we were already struggling in PvP (but I was still managing to have fun) and that single, small change destroyed it, even though we begged Aggrend not to do it.

I don’t even raid log anymore, I haven’t logged into SoD for about 3 weeks and probably won’t be back. P3 has been horrendous overall and has caused the game to haemorrhage players.

This is what you and others should be concerned about. Not the lack of Ferals. With Cata pre-patch out, Dark Heart next week, Pandaria Remix the week after then Cata launch followed not long after by TWW launch, there’s an absolute plethora of content in the next few months for players of all persuasions.

Why would someone log into SoD to grind Incursions with all that available/coming up?

SoD overall was a huge success - but unfortunately certain decisions taken regarding it have ruined it and a very noticeable chunk of people have and continue to jump ship.

Playing feral sucks. Blame Blizz for that. As soon as I saw the gore rune datamined I rerolled. And gore isn’t the only reason feral playstyle stinks ofc.

Buff ferals so more people play them.

No.

Sounds like your guild needs to learn how to properly advertise recruitment.
